Is a nice casual place with good service. Food is good. My wife and I enjoy the calzones. You can go with the menu recommended choices or even change them to what you want. The Bloody Mary with the deviled eggs and bacon is one of my favorite bloody’s in the Milwaukee area.

Best bloody Mary’s with a shot of spotted cow on the side. Deviled eggs and bacon in the Bloody Mary r so good. Love the spotted cow. Got the French dip. Wouldn’t get again. Meat was too thick and dry. The cheese curds were okay but too much batter for me. Hard to beat tipsy cow cheese curds in Madison. The onion strings were delicious. My husband had the bbq bacon burger and loved it. Bacon here is amazing. Great service. Great atmosphere. Half price appetizers from 4 to6 every day. Will be back!!!

Came for breakfast and they had big selection of choices. Had my server pick my breakfast and she picked the flatlander skillet and it had eggs Benedict on top of hash browns and sausage. Very good. My server was Addie and she was a very delightful young lady.

My children like going to Chancery and I really dislike it. That said, we were in Mequon tonight and they wanted to go. I gave it another chance, since we usually go to the Tosa location. The interior was much nicer than Tosa and the fire grill made me think that there may possibly be better entrees here. I ordered the Fire Grill Bruschetta. Sadly, it was another piece of evidence for me that they don’t cook well or they don’t know good food. The bruschetta was basically 4 thick slices of soft bread. On top was some sort of soft cheese or something t that tasted/felt like a thick creamy sauce on top of the break. The cheese melted on top was typical shredded cheese and there were diced tomatoes on top that looked like they came from a can. The worst part is that I paid $ 9 for this. I ate about a ¼ of it and my kids ate the other part. Bruschetta should be on a hard thin slice of toast, a good amount of olive oil(saw none), and marinated tomato slices on top. This was so far from what a decent bruschetta should be. I didn’t complain about it to them since I typically don’t like their food. It seems like they don’t put effort into making good food. It’s very ‘meh’ and they charge a decent amount for mediocre foods. I made my family promise me to never try to talk me into going here again because I am always disappointed.

Solid specials in the bar… Excellent quality, great service, terrific neighborhood spot for a casual meal.

I’ve always been quite surprised by the food and service at Chancery. It has the appearance from the outside of a chain-type restaurant where quality usually suffers and wait staff is poorly trained. I have always found the food at Chancery to be quite good though, all though it could partly be due to my fairly low expectations. Anything from the wood fired grill menu is usually a solid choice. The pastas, calzones and pizzas have always been tasty, filling and freshly prepared. The breadstick that accompanies the pasta dishes is usually hard and bordering on inedible, but overall the meal is a good value and flavorful. They also make a very good French onion soup, which is something that general relies on over-saltiness to mask the blandness of the flavor. Chancery’s is quite flavorful and doesn’t require you to guzzle gallons of water to wash the salt out of your mouth afterwards. I also love the bruschetta which adds spinach artichoke dip for a spin on the dish. Overall, Chancery is an above-average meal, at a good price. It wouldn’t be my go-to for a weekend date night or special occasion, but for a quick lunch or weeknight dinner, it is a good choice for a casual meal.

Ask for Tessa the really great new server! Brings plenty of limes for your drink! My folks had the Monday all you can eat shrimp for the 15th time in 2 years. I had a calzone. Veggie sister had bean burger. House made… wow! Consistently good and a good value. Decreased marks for happy hour not in dining room(bar only) and beer prices are a little high.

This is th first time I’ve been yo the Mequon location. The service here was fine but I’m used to the extremely friendly staff from the tosa location and I was a bit disappointed. The beer cheese soup was very good. The one thing that I was not happy with at all was that there was no hand soap in the restroom. I asked staff if there was another place for me to wash my hands and they said that I just had to wait for them to change the soap. I asked where the staff washes their hands before they go back to work and I was told that they wash their hands in the sinks in back. So that means that they leave the restroom without washing their hands? I don’t think so. I can guarantee that there was staff with dirty hands.

This is the most average place ever. I have gone here multiple times with family and never left the place amazed. The food is mediocre and the service can vary from great to the worst ever. I would not recommend going here during the night or weekend because it is always packed. Some how.

We ordered onion strings for an appetizer which took a very long time to arrive. They were a little greasier than normal but still tasted great. The diet coke tasted like the syrup ratio was off. The bbq bacon burger with sweet potato waffle fries were on point. The beer cheese soup with soft baked pretzel was also a huge winner. The service overall was really slow.

Really like the décor here. Reminds of the a back of the woods/road type place back home. The gf and I started with the stuffed wontons. They were great. I ordered a ravioli and I loved the presentation. The ravioli itself was covered entirely in cheese with spinach and mushrooms in the middle and pirces of decent sized ravioli surrounding it. Very very tasty. Decent prices as well. Will definitely be returning as we will be living only minutes away.

This place has great food and atmosphere! A real wood fire for pizza, good salads and burgers and sandwiches. Friendly staff. I go there about once a week for lunch. Try Friday. It is the best fish fry I have had and I have tried quite a few. The batter is light and crunchy. The cole slaw is tasty with the balance on vegetables and not mayo. Once in a while I treat myself to desert. Many are homemade and all are great. I love a place that does not feel like every other restaurant. It is more homey. It’s part of a local, small chain(I think three or four restaurants). It’s a very good place for a casual business lunch or just a place to go with friends. Certain nights have live music so check the signs. I never get tired of this place.

I have enjoyed eating here two times now, but this most recent time was a little different. I have never heard more rood people than what I experienced this evening. People complaining about service, when they had only been sitting there for maybe five minutes. They did not say please or thank you and acted like they were the ones! This drives me bonkers, but I did enjoy my Pub Burger and Oberon!

Super fun place to bring the family. A nice alternative to Applebee’s and the like. We typically like the get the chicken strips or the flatbread pizzas. Both are very tasty. The atmosphere is typical of these type of chain restaurants. Service is typically quick and polite.

Service — good, food quality — good, having any clue what a neapolitan pizza is — fail. Ordered the margherita pizza and hoping for a nice surprise but instead I got a disappointment. The crust was fluted like an apple pie… little to zero charring… way too much chesse… While they may have the correct ingredients list, to call it neapolitan is just wrong. I suggest naming it after something local and be proud of it… it wasn’t a bad pizza, just not what anyone familiar with this standard would recognize.

Checked out the Chancery for Sunday brunch and the ambiance suffered. Maybe it fills up a bit later, but at 10 am we were the only ones there. Their brunch menu is small, but the eggs benedict was quite good. I had a bacon and eggs bloody mart with deviled eggs that was excellent. Bloodies come with beer chasers, and breakfast entrees come with one free mini mimosa. Refills are 99 cents on the mimosas, which you really can’t beat! Drinks and food were good, and I think had the place been busier it would have been a better experience.

This place is okay. Love that they give you popcorn for appetizer. Do not get the pasta, it’s not that good. Also their starters are pricey compared to other pubs. Stick with the sandwiches and burgers. This place is overall decent.

Constantly changing menu that seems to be getting worse in quality. I like the Nacho Cocktail appetizer. It’s a goblet filled with queso and chicken surrounded by chips. Service is ok. Don’t come here with high expectations though. Due to budget cuts, you must ask for the popcorn now. It’s not automatic.

Do not order wood fired salmon! It was so over cooked, dry, no flavor… Really bad. Reminded me of airplane food, when they used to serve it on planes… Mushrooms with it were from a can, no flavor… with the spinach. The mashed potatoes were good!!! Those potatoes were real mashed and were good. Veggies were fine. But we really wanted a nice salmon filet and it was awful :( Waitress was nice. But we just couldn’t even begin to tell her how bad salmon was. Oh well… Dessert was good, we took that to go.

Nice local restaurant in Mequon. Had some sort of bacon cheeseburger for lunch. It was your standard bacon cheeseburger. Big and a little messy, the way I like it. Fries were tasty, the service was prompt though insistent on everyone being orderly(«Everyone pay attention so I don’t have to say the special a third time. Or I’ll say them again, but listen up.» –HA) They have a special deal here for teachers I believe? Like 20% off? I dunno, I was barely paying attention, but pretty sweet. Pretty much saves you the cost of the tip, ya know?
