Yum Yum Donuts

I have had worse donuts but I’m not sure when. And the bagels were the worst ever. I don’t know how they can call it a bagel.

Came with friends to get donuts which I don’t normally like so I wanted just a regular chocolate donut. They were out? I get that it’s a probably a popular choice but shouldn’t they have more of a basic donut? I ended up getting glazed which was still really good. Just disappointed that they didn’t have a classic donut.

Depends what time of day you go. In the afternoon the donuts taste fresh but in morning /​evening, the donuts taste like they’ve been sitting in their own oil. Just go to savemart or something.

I love the place! The men who work there are sweet guys, very efficient, and helpful. They have absolutely wonderful donuts, and have special ones for holidays. My favorite though is their breakfast burritos. Sadly only sold between 6am and 6pm, they are simple. A flour tortilla with your choice of cheese, egg, bacon, ham, chorizo and more. I don’t believe they season any of it, but thats what I prefer. You can call in and order one ahead, but they take less than 10 minutes to make, and some times you can get their salsa which I enjoy! The only place in Merced I go to for a quick and good breakfast. Open 24 hours!

I’ve come to this donut shop multiple times now and I find it’s very inconsistent in some ways. Don’t get me wrong, every donut I’ve gotten has tasted amazing, but the stock of donuts is always different. I really love donut holes, but each time I’ve gone, they’ve always been out. I usually get the cinnamon roll and it’s warm and tasty. It’s open 24/​7, which is the best perk and I have gone a few times at 2 – 3 am.

The fake cronuts are pretty good (for donuts, IDK what a cronut tastes like). Also the guy who works here is bae. You can study here (open ²⁴⁄₇) but tbh I have no idea if they even have outlets and it’s kind of uncomfortable seating.

Love the donut holes variety when they have them. Unfortunately they don’t have them all the time, hence the missing star. The donuts are great with numerous variety. Reasonable price

Not a bad donut but nothing special. Rollen Donuts in Merced is the King of donuts.

It’s no Krispy Kreme but it’s still donuts! Open 24 hours, convenient! I have been here twice and I would say it is a decent place. The shop is well kept and in a nice part of Merced. I LOVE donuts and this place satisfies my cravings when I have them. The reason I give them two stars is because of the staff. The first time I came here the lady was rude and cut me off while I was ordering to attend to someone else. The second time I came, there was not a wide variety to choose from but I did see that there were some coming out soon. Maybe both times I went were bad times? I don’t know. But I think I will stick to my Hostess Powered Donuts and come here if I REALLY need to.

What I love about this place is that it is open 24 hours and the donuts are always fresh!
I usually get a dozen (mix and match). Forgot the price, but it is less than $ 10 for sure! And, the maple glazed is my favorite of all donuts!

Will never go there again. Went there with my son, I guess they recently mopped but they forgot to place their wet floor sign so my son fell & hurt his leg. They didn’t even apologize for being negligent. or at least comp our order. My son ended up with a horrible bruise the size of half his calf. Now we go to Donut King where they don’t charge you extra if you add filled donuts when you’re buying a dozen donuts & the staff are a lot nicer.

Second best donuts in Merced, and they’re ²⁴⁄₇! Come at night and you’ll have the pleasure of being served by Carlos, if you come at 12 am you can also get what I like to call midnight donuts, they’re the cakey type donuts. Amazing!

I’ve never heard of a donut shop that’s open for 24 hours until Yum Yum Donuts… and of all the places… in Merced! Whack! I had a hankering for a donut during physiology class so decided to Unilocal donuts and found this.
Went in there and got so speechless cause there’s so much to choose from and I didn’t really have a specific craving for anything specific; I just wanted donuts! I was so overwhelmed that I just went for the very first thing my eyes saw — the mini donuts and this long-​looking «donut» that’s apparently filled with apples and it all cost me $ 3 (not bad at all).
Took it home, devoured it, enjoyed it, and filled me up to the max. I really really loved that apple «donut» thing; reminded me of apple pie, sigh… hmm… definitely coming back to try other flavors, and maybe next time I shall try the strawberry «donut» long-​looking thing.
FYI: Basically, that long-​looking thing I’m talking about looks like a long donut, covered with cinnamon and sugar; when you see it, it looks dense but when you taste it, it’s the opposite; they have strawberry flavor as well, except it’s glazed.

It’s one of the few places in Merced that is open 24-​hours. Regardless if you come in at noon or 1:30 in the morning, they always have a pretty good selection of donuts to choose from. I love the original glazed and their apple fritters. I’m not a coffee drinker (so I won’t be knocking a star off), but my friend is, and she does not recommend the coffee…
Other than the coffee, this place is great. The guys that work here are pretty friendly, too. I hate to knock on local businesses, especially since Yum Yum is a chain, but I like this place better than Rollen Donuts on G… their apple fritters gave me a tummy ache =/​ (that’s just me though, people boast about their apple fritters). Oh Yum Yum, you take me back to those special times as a young girl when my dad would take me to the one in LA on Saturday mornings for a donut and some OJ… now I come in during midnight study breaks: P

24 hour donut spot!
Yes, there is a place in merced that’s open 24 hrs aside from the fast food joints and taquerias! It’s Yum Yum Donuts! LOL! I was here last week because I had this really bad craving for donuts! Where else would I go but here? To my dismay, it’s a one-​man show! This man was mixing the dough, frying, and icing the donuts when I got there. He was so nice! The donuts really did hit the spot for me.
I had the glazed, sugar, custard filled chocolate one, and cruller. DON’T JUDGE ME! I had a bad craving for them! They did satisfy my craving. I was very surprised how light and fluffy the cruller was.
However, this is nothing compared to Krispy Kreme Doughnuts! Those are to die for!

I don’t think i’ve ever heard of a 24 hour donut shop. so you could imagine my surprise that the first one i’ve ever been to was in Merced.
The real deal is with the 14 donut holes for about $ 1.89 I believe. Ask if they have the coconut ones… those are REALLY YUM YUM! I like to get the Cinnamon Crumb donut with a milk or coffee… But there’s a great variety of different donuts to match your particular cravings. Everything is fresh and available 24/7.who can really complain about that?

I come here to get some donuts around 1 a.m. and I would usually see them making donuts at this time. I would suggest people to come in earlier if they want more selection of donuts. What I like about this place is their raspberry filled donuts and mocha iced latte.

My favorite place for donuts, holiday bread and even croissant sandwiches. Good deal with a 14-​count dozen at a good price. Items are always fresh and holiday breads can be made to order (ie, no nuts, etc…).
A vast variety of yummy donuts and other pastry treats and it’s great that it’s open 24 hrs so you can satisfy that sweet craving any time!
