I had the worst experience as a father with Lynn Tuttle’s biased evaluation of my vs. my ex-wife’s parenting. Ultimately it is a «he says vs. she says» which proves nothing.
I too, was very involved on a daily basis in my kids’ lives. Waking them up every morning, getting them fed and to the bus stop. After school picking them up 70% of the time, finishing homework when needed and then dinner by ourselves or dining out most of the time because their mother was always working late. But no, that was not good enough. On top of that, my ex-​wife endangered our daughter by trying to pull her out of my moving car (resulting in a 911 call and compelling police report), no foul there, I was told I contributed to the incident by wanting to rescue my child after a frantic call asking me to!
Nothing should justify doing something like this to a child.
Ultimately, I never got ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ with my kids, despite the fact that they voiced their will to spend equal time with both parents, only to be told that it felt I had coached them to say that. While the kids testified on the record (black on white in the evaluation) that their mom told them if she didn’t have majority custody they would have to live in an apartment (wouldn’t that be coaching?). But I guess it’s ok for a mother to coach the kids what to say.
I should have received more than 50% time with the kids, but ended with 6 out of 14 nights.
Sorry for my rambling, and if I sound upset, because I am. I could literally write a book…
I am totally disgusted by the process and the outcome and total disregard for what is really best for the children.
Stay away from this person.
