Bella and I have been hanging around each other since she was 4 months old; now she’s working on 9 years. We have road tripped across the country a few times, slept under the stars often, lived in places varying from Brookings, OR, to Laguna Beach, CA. She’s stuck with me for roughly a quarter of my life — longer than any girlfriend (no judging, HA!).
So after moving to Seattle and taking a job that requires frequent travel, often times with as little as 24 – 48 hours notice, I was faced with the challenge of finding a compassionate, understanding, flexible, yet utterly competent and reliable person /service to hang with Bella for periods of 1 – 10 days at a time. The catch — I will NEVER send my little girl to a kennel, or puppy-prison as I call it. She likes to drool on my couch pillows and be around her own things. Besides that, I’d be concerned that she would come back with fleas and a crack habit.
Lauren and the WOOF! Seattle team have provided me with the reassurance that my initial call out to them was absolutely the right thing. Lauren works extremely hard to accommodate my ever changing schedule and to not only meet Bella’s needs, but to put in the extra effort to truly make her happy. Lauren sends me text pictures of Bella out for walks, playing in the snow, satiating her need for more Blue Dog Bakery treats, and grinning from ear to ear. This not only allows me to stay focused while I’m away, but brings a huge smile to my face!
I have to thank Lauren and the WOOF! Seattle team for making it possible for me to get back to Chicago and see my family during the Thanksgiving holiday. Despite the paralyzing snow and fairly short notice, Lauren was able to commit to ensuring Bella’s safety and comfort.
Lauren isn’t just a dog walker or a dog sitter — she is a dog lover. That, ultimately, is why I will not have anyone else look after my Bella.

We couldn’t be happier with WOOF! Lauren really went above and beyond for our little Marty. We were leaving the country on a cruise, and very nervous about leaving our little girl at home. She doesn’t like other dogs, so having Lauren spend the night was best. She made sure Marty had her medicine, walked her, and also had good company. She emailed us with pictures and updates, and that helped us relax on our trip.
Lauren has a genuine love for animals, and worked hard to gain Marty’s trust. When we got home, Marty was bathed, brushed, and clean. Our house seemed cleaner than when we left it, and Lauren left cards out with updates from her Marty adventure. She even made hard copies of the pictures she took of her!
We seriously couldn’t believe it when we got home, and will definitely be using Lauren again. She really cares about her job, and is tireless in everything she does.

As a newbie to the area and not knowing where to go, I was pleasantly surprised to meet with them to take care of my two 11 week old kittens while I travel for work. I would easily reccommend them as they not only met expectations, but exceeded them with extras I found very comforting and heart warming.
As I will continue to travel for work, I will know that I can rely on them to take care of Sassy and Pepper.

My husband and I love, love, love Lauren and her business! She was GREAT with our «hairy-child»…(our super hyper 2 year old Golden Retriever) «Quasi». We had to travel back home for two weeks and we did not hesitate leaving Quasi with Lauren. She was amazing with our dog, listened to what we needed and treated our dog like her own pet! She sent me e-mail updates to let us know how she was doing. We didn’t worry once. She also sent us a picture of Quasi (via phone) while they were on a walk in West Seattle. Plus, Lauren’s prices were very reasonable. She stayed with Quasi nightly and gave her the love and attention she needed. I can’t rave enough about Woof Seattle!
Thanks again Lauren! We need a dogie date soon!

The first time I met Lauren from woof she was doing a raffle and gift give away for the dogs at my neighborhood park. My dogs quickly helped themselves to her bag of toys and goodies and made off with a couple trinkets. My dogs acted horrible– the worst manners ever!
Lauren laughed it off like no big deal. I asked here if she could handle spazz dogs and she said no problem!
I loved this girl already! I had been unsuccessful up until that point in finding a sitting service that could accomodate my leash aggressive, prey driven, squirrel chasing, hyper, strong, unpredictable canines.
I also have a Siamese cat that for sitters in the past have never seen– they just notice food is missing. Mimi always comes out for Lauren and even shows off!
My dogs adore her and after a couple of lengthy vacations have returned home with both «the girls» calm and content like I never left. The house is always the way I left it– she even picks up the dog toys!
Lauren goes above and beyond the normal dog sitting– in fact she will sometimes sit with your pets and play or cuddle them just because.
I trust Lauren and woof Seattle like I trust a family member. That is important to feel that way. My neighbors would attest to the extra attention. They told me that Lauren was at the park several times a day
with the dogs. She said she had some extra time on the weekend.
I feel that the pricing is reasonable. Other dog walking agencies charge
per dog per visit and it is a quick poop/pee wam bam $ 60 per day for 2 visits. Woof is way more reasonable.
Woof takes care of them like an owner would.
The funniest part is that the girls act like Angels for Lauren.

The people at Woof! are very nice and made alot of effort to take good care of my 2 dogs but in the end it did not work out. I think there was a good deal of inexperience on their part that contributed to this. I have since used two other people for dog care without any issue. If you do use them be sure you are getting what you are paying for by being very clear on your expectations.
