Repair and restoration of clocks. From antique to modern, cuckoo clocks, anniversary clocks, electric, and battery movements, we repair them all. House calls made for grandfather clocks and for those not able to bring their clocks to the shop. (additional charge may apply)

Pine Knoll Clock Shop also has a custom crafted clock division by the name of Pine Knoll Clock Works where we craft arts and crafts style clocks, clocks from recycled items (upcycled clocks), custom designed clocks, antique reproductions, many one of a kind clocks created by Dorrin.

History

Established in 1981.

Dorrin K. Mace is a true Horologist and a member of the AWI, BHI, and NAWCC. A true Horologist is one that has a great interest in the art of time, has studied and understands timekeeping and all clock movements; A person that goes in-​depth to understand the problems a clock movement can have as well as how to properly repair and maintain these pieces. An Horologist understands metallurgy, woodworking, classical design, architecture, and history. A true horologist is not just a person that tinkers with clocks, but one that understands a clock and is interested in proper restoration, not just «getting the movement running» Dorrin is proud to be a true horologist. Pine Knoll Clock Shop has a full woodworking shop and machine shop at its disposal to address the needs of case repair and replacement of missing movement parts. Additionally, we have hundreds of movements available in our graveyard from which we can glean parts. House calls are available for large clocks or for those that are
