Our law firm handles a variety of civil and criminal matters.
We represent individuals who are injured as a result of the negligence of another. Representative cases include motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall accidents, wrongful death claims, dog bites, products liability claims, libel and slander, and assault and battery claims.
We regularly represent individuals who have sustained injuries on the job and who are seeking workers’ compensation benefits. We appear in front of the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission throughout the State of Connecticut.
We also represent inviduals who are seeking social security disability and/or supplemental security income benefits because they are sick, hurt and disabled and unable to work. We help with the appeals process and regularly represent these individuals at administrative hearings.

History
Established in 1974.
Our firm opened in 1974 as a collaboration between local Meriden attorneys Joseph Weigand and Brian Mahon. The firm gradually expanded and established itself as a local firm with a statewide reputation. In the mid 1980s, the firm moved to its present location at 636 Broad Street in Meriden and adopted the name Weigand, Mahon, & Adelman, P.C. In 2009, after attorney Gerard Adelman left the firm when he was appointed to serve as a superior court judge, the firm name changed to Mahon, Quinn, & Mahon, P.C. The firm is currently comprised of three partners – Brian Mahon, Michael Quinn, and Colin Mahon. Attorney Joseph Weigand, who was one of the founding partners, is still involved in a vital of-counsel role.
