This fast food restaurant took the place of some crappy Utah burger chain. I’m a sucker for Mexican style BBQ chicken. These guys have a pretty good spice rub and they have the Mexican cooking method down. The chicken was a bit dry but I suspect that’s due to the lack of business.(They likely make a batch in the morning. With more business they’d probably crank out chicken more frequently.) I hit them at the lunch rush and the place was a ghost town. I think there was one guy running the entire place and he wasn’t that busy. Each meal comes with 2 tortillas, salsa, guacamole and 2 sides. You get a lot of food for the price. I hope these guys can pull it out. They aren’t the best Mexican style BBQ chicken I’ve tried but they’re better and cheaper than Pollo Rei.
