Pretty impressive variety… sun dried tomatoes & alfalfa sprouts as a choice, very fresh fruits and veggies. The lemon chicken soup was fantastic, 2 bowls worth of fantastic. Pineapple was sweet… One of the cleanest salad bars I’ve seen & can’t beat this price for the selection.

Very friendly staff. Loud bar music isn’t family friendly. Food is very bland and processed. Salad bar is fair but overpriced for just a salad. Atmosphere is fast food like. Wont ever go again.

I didn’t think to much of this place until I actually went and tried it. The Mexican corn soup is on point and the wife loved the lemon chicken soup. They also have a variety of dessert breads that were awesome. Great job souper salad.

Over priced food has very little to no flavor. The dressing is so thick you can barely get it on the salad. Would recommend if you wanted a quick boring unflavored meal other wise go some place else.

Great place to sit down and grab a bite. Atmosphere is very casual with a large salad bar that has every type of major green that you might want. There is also another food bar with soups and sides. The self-serve bars are the stars of the show and they deliver, all for $ 9 per adult! Also, chicken breasts are available for $ 1.70 each and they are tender and juicy. Try! You won’t be disappointed.

The food is very average at best but if you are into all you can eat salad that is the best part. Dessert not good and the pizza and tacos bar were less than stellar but for the money it’s ok in a pinch.

Great place for feeding a family with little kids. Selected our food so they could eat quickly. Had good selection for salads and soups. Pastas, pizza and potato selection was also good. Manager and hostess were very helpful getting us set up. Would have liked more hot tea options(only black), juice instead of soda for kids and more fresh fruit. Everything seemed fresh which we were concerned about based on other reviews.

I really like coming here! They are always so friendly, helpful, and CLEAN! The staff are usually busy making sure everything stays as fresh and warm/cold as they can. Their soups are pretty great! Food is nothing to rave about, if you want great food, I wouldn’t choose a buffet to begin with…

Good service, good pricing, friendly staff, food is good. I have no complaints and everything was fresh. It’s a buffet, you know your not gonna get 5 star zagat rated steak, swordfish, or lobster. If I had to complain about anything it would be the desert area where it was a lil messy with colored sprinkles everywhere, but we already know every 5 seconds a kid is gonna make a mess so I’m letting it slide. I enjoyed it and would go back.

Pretty good as far as salad buffets go. The usual salad selection as well as some premise pasta and misc salad which were good. The bread was good, too(mmm, carbs.) and there were baked potatoes, a taco bar, as well as a pasta and sauce station. I would visit this place again for lunch. I was bummed that there weren’t any more high chairs so my son had to sit in my lap. All in all the place is «good», not great or stellar or even bad. It’s slightly above average and just good.

We saw a kid on the side of the road with a sign Souper Salad. It’s been along time since we have been to a good place for soup & salad. Well I guess we will still have to keep on looking. The price was 13.84 with senior discount, 2 ice teas for 3.98. Total with tax was $ 18.47. This was a all you can eat buffet. The place was clean and bright. The selection of salad and soup was very limited. The soup I tried was watered down and was bland. My wife liked what she selected. They had a toco bar but the meat was grease. I think I will pass on returning.

This place is pretty good for the price. I went for lunch on Thursday and saw lots of senior citizens there. This could be the reason I felt many things were under seasoned or not seasoned at all. On the good side, great breadsticks and soups. Super thin crust pizza was great. Salad bar had lots of options and some I haven’t seen at other local salad bars. Taco and spaghetti bar looked appetizing but I was too full and needed room for dessert. Strawberry shortcake was pretty good. Little brownies lacked sugar and ice cream tasted icy not creamy. Overall it was decent for around $ 20 for 2 people but I’ll bypass this place in the future… or at least till I can get the senior discount.

It was hard to find anything that was edible. The kids had fun though. Understandable since the food was about on par with the school cafeteria. How do you make salad and soup bad?!? I would not recommend.

This is not the kind of place I would normally go, simply because I don’t like all-you-can-eat style and I don’t like the cafeteria like atmosphere. However, I was with a colleague and this is where he wanted to go so I was game to give it a try. We got there slightly early for lunch so almost no one was seated and eating when we arrived. The hostess got us started and seemed pleasant enough. There is not much to say about the salad bar. Typical salad offerings, plus toppings, and things like cottage cheese, pasta and potato salads, etc. It looked quite clean, but again, we were one of the first people in there for lunch. Also, everything looked fresh and the items that were supposed to be kept cold were cold. The hostess came by after we had started eating and made sure we could find everything. She also took our used plates away and came by at least twice during our meal. Good service for what I was expecting and once again, she was very pleasant. I tried the bow tie pasta with sun dried tomato and it was surprisingly good. So was the potato salad. Also tried the beef noodle soup which was also quite tasty, but on the salty side and not quite as hot as I would have liked. I tried the cornbread but did not end up tasting it because it was cold(like they recently took it out of a refrigerator or even the freezer). The salad is, well… it’s just a salad. Don’t expect anything more. I was surprised that they also had baked potatoes and tacos here as well. I did not try them. They also have the desert stuff. I had a small soft serve ice cream and it was as expected. So still not a place I would frequent very often but it is inexpensive and you can certainly get your money’s worth if this is the kind of lunch you are looking for. Souper Salad is definitely not a high end soup and salad place but it is less expensive than the fancy alternatives, so I guess it all evens out.

Have been there twice recently. Good selection. Ice cream dispenser has been broken on both trips which is part of the experience. No discount offered when this happens

So as I mentioned in a previous review, the«all you can eat» buffet is a guilty pleasure. We try to fight it, we try to deny it, but every now and then it is just irresistible. It can be even more irresistible when we are tricked into thinking it is more healthy than the usual buffet. Enter Souper Salad. You won’t find piles of fried chicken and french fries here. Instead they focus almost solely on… soups and salads, as the name would imply. But does that mean you’ll walk away feeling any better about yourself afterwards? More than likely not. The bottom line is Souper Salad pretty much fails to impress. It does live up to its namesake well enough, but the offerings are distinctly bland and unimpressive. In terms of salad, you have a selection of greens to build on, along with a wide variety of toppings and dressings. In addition they have a selection of other cold salads like potato salad, pasta salad, seafood salad, etc. It is an impressive selection but… it really isn’t any wider or better than the salad bars at any other conventional buffet restaurant like Golden Corral or Chuck-A-Rama. They also offer special seasonal salads that rotate, but again, so do other buffets. For a restaurant that wants to focus solely on salads as its focus, I would expect something more impressive in this regard and it just… isn’t. In addition to the salads they do offer pizza, pasta, and baked potatoes. And for an additional fee, you can get grilled chicken to add to your salad. Once again this is no different than what a larger buffet can offer you, and without the added cost for the«extra» protein. The food itself simply isn’t that good. I was not impressed with any of the hot food at all. The soups, pasta, etc. were all decidedly bland. Again I understand that a buffet is never going to offer the highest quality food no matter what, but basic seasoning is somewhat fundamental and to me it is a reasonable expectation at even the simplest of restaurants. The bottom line is that there isn’t anything that Souper Salad does that another full-service buffet doesn’t do better. The only reason I can think of to go to Souper Salad specifically would be if ALL you want is a ton of salad and don’t want to be «tempted» by the broader options at other buffets. But even if that is the case, if it is salad that you are really craving… I would say go to a quick service deli or casual restaurant that could prepare one of much higher quality than Souper Salad could give you. Overall this place is just very hard to recommend.

I went with the family on a weeknight; had a coupon for ~$ 6/ea. We are used to Souplantation in SoCal. Overall…very friendly and efficient service, clean, decent quality. Soup selection was a little sparse, salad bar was smallish, but had everything we wanted. Nice treats: Strawberry shortcake makings, gingersnaps, taco bar. Wish they had: Clam chowder, sourdough. We will definitely be back. Good reasonably priced eats. Friendly staff who hustled, as well!
