I scoured the internet for the best pest control company as I recently found mice in my home, and I definitely found the best! Wilkinson Pest Control is a «mom & pop shop» as Scott will tell you, and on their cards it says, «We treat you like family!» I can confirm this is true!
I called and Alicia, Scott’s wife, answered the phone. She was friendly and helpful in getting me set up with an initial visit and plan. The day before my appointment, Scott himself called to remind me he was coming.
When Scott arrived to my home, he was friendly and easy to talk to, explained his program and the services I would receive, and took care of my entire house. He placed bait traps and sprayed the interior and exterior of my home with a safe product that won’t harm my dogs. All I had to do was unlock a few doors and raise my blinds, and he took care of the rest. When he found some unnecessary holes where mice had been getting in, he even plugged them with steel wool for me!
His company also provides a call anytime option, so if I do have problems, I can call free of charge and he’ll take care of it. They also support and give proceeds to the Wyakin Warrior Foundation, which provides wounded/​injured veterans with scholarships and certifications. In addition, he also offers a military/​veteran discount. Awesome.
I’m so pleased and relieved I chose Wilkinson Pest Control.

We recently moved back to Idaho after the better part of a decade in Oklahoma and Texas, so I know what to look for in a pest control company — how they spray, size of the house-​perimeter and property-​perimeter, etc. And I can tell you that Wilkinson is the real deal.
First of all, Scott Wilkinson is the owner and he is the one who came to do the treatments. That makes a difference — who do you think is going to do a better job: the owner who is concerned about his long-​term customer base, or some hourly or by the job tech? Scott was literally at our house working for the better part of two hours for our initial treatment. He was EXTREMELY thorough to say the least.
What’s more, is Scott is actually an enjoyable person to have in your home. He is courteous (asked for permission to enter, asked if he should take his shoes off) and makes pleasant conversation. He’s a family man.
Wilkinson’s price is much better than some of the competition in the valley, including the self-​proclaimed «largest in Idaho» who couldn’t even handle my phone call.
And of course, most importantly, Scott kills bugs. We saw them dead and dying immediately following his visit, and it’s clear that his treatments are extremely effective.
So take it from a guy who lived in a place where good pest control is your life-​line: Wilkinson is who you want for pest control.

Absolutely the best customer service I have seen in ages! Scott continues to carry on the original concept of taking great care or his customers and all their needs. Since moving to Idaho 6 years ago, we encountered new insects & pests that we really didn’t have a problem with in Utah. Scott came out to our new home while working at Bioguard and made us feel comfortable with our issues whether big or small and made us feel right at home. We too followed him to Terminix and then were so excited to hear of his own business endeavors and without question signed on as a loyal customer. He continues to impress and put my mind at ease each and every visit and what other company do you know will come back anytime you call and take care of a simple wasps nest in between quarterly visits. He’s awesome and of course we have recommended him to friends and our in-​laws that just moved here as well. His products are very family & pet safe and his techniques are quite thorough. I highly recommend him to anyone that cherishes the good ol’ days of great customer service and a honest happy face every visit.
