ROW Adventures is the life passion of Peter Grubb and wife, Betsy Bowen. For over 37 years they have been pouring their hearts and souls into creating adventure travel experiences that enrich lives and exceed expectations. The result is a loyal following of travelers who trust them with their vacation dreams time and time again.

One reason they’ve earned this trust is that they are intimately connected to every adventure ROW offers, and have personally researched and developed all of the ROW vacation itineraries. While they began as an adventure travel company with a focus on whitewater rafting trips, they’ve grown into a company with an eclectic collection of adventures around the world.

One could say that the inspiration for ROW goes back to a childhood where a love for nature was paramount and travel was valued far above possessions. In 1978, after Peter’s sophomore year at St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland, he worked a summer job as a whitewater rafting guide in West Vi
