Specialties
Grace Christian Academy is the only k-12 Classical Christian school in all of NYC and Long Island. We focus on developing a clear Christian worldview in our students as we present Christ as preeminent in all the academic disciplines. We also provide a very rigorous curriculum which includes an emphasis on grammar, logic, rhetoric, Latin and the humanities.
With a small student-to-teacher ratio of 9 to 1, we are able to provide much needed individualized attention, both academically and spiritually. We regularly graduate 100% of our senior classes with all of those students going to the four-year colleges of their choice, many with significant financial aid and scholarship.
History
Established in 1999.
GCA began as a group of families from Grace Reformed Baptist Church were experimenting with ways to homeschool their preschool children together. As these children increased in age, these families added grades until 2009 when it was decided to actually form form a high school. GCA has been operating as a NYS certified k-12 ever since then.
During those few years, we have added ten different AP courses, an athletic program, various clubs, and currently the only chapter of American Heritage Girls in all of NYC and Long Island.

Stephen S.
Manager
The headmaster is also one of the pastoral staff at Redeeming Grace Fellowship in Massapequa, a church plant of North Shore Baptist Church in Bayside, NY. He is the proud father of three who all attend GCA, and is a regular coach in the school and community. He received his B.A. in Psychology from Miami University, his Masters in Secondary Math Education from Liberty University, and his post-masters degree in School Building Leadership from Queens College. While serving in the NYC Department of Education as a math teacher, he regularly prayed that the Lord would provide a k-12 classical Christian school in the area to which his children could attend and he could administrate. That prayer was answered in the fall of 2012.
