Long Island Checker Cab of Merrick

With all the taxi services available in and near Merrick, you would think they would have better customer service. I just called to schedule a pick-​up for later today and after letting the phone ring for a while, someone finally picks up only to put me on hold. He comes back and when I tell him I’m going to the train station, he tells me they don’t take calls in advance, you have to call when you’re ready to go and hangs up on me. Aside from the fact that I’ve called and scheduled in advance before, this guy could not have been more rude. Won’t be using them again
**Just called All Island Taxi (also in Merrick), they also had to put me on hold but couldn’t have been nicer or more pleasant. They scheduled a pick up for later today no problem and even said please and thank you. Definitely recommend them for anyone needing a taxi.

Avoid these horrible drivers, horrible dispatchers and overpriced cab fares at all costs!
