Govert’s has been in business for over 30 years, serving Northwest Indiana and the Chicago area. We specialize in auto body repair with a complete Service Department. We have 24 hour towing and roadside assistance. We have FREE loaner vehicles for insured while we repair your vehicle. Pick-​up and delivery service available at no charge. We work with your insurance company to get your vehicle repaired. From start to finish, we take the stress out.

History

Established in 1983.

Established by Wayne and Judy Govert in 1983, we have since grown our business from a 2,500 square foot shop to a full service auto body, mechanical and towing facility with over 40,000 square feet of usable space. The latest expansion occurred in September of 2006 with the addition of a new state of the art auto body facility in Merrillville at the intersection of Route 30 and Whitcomb.

Proudly serving Northwest Indiana and the Chicago area with the utmost emphasis placed on customer satisfaction, we are always continuing education and striving to improve our business. Govert technicians are certified and trained using the latest technology to ensure that your vehicle is repaired to pre-​accident condition, meeting all factory specifications.

Wayne and Judy Govert are blessed with 2 daughters that work at Govert’s in Griffith and a son that works at Govert’s in Merrillville. They believe in quality, correct and safe repairs, nothing less.
