Nice place! Cheerful tavern with excellent burgers expertly grilled behind the bar. More attention to the food than you might expect: the bun is toasted on the flat top, and the fries are top notch. Friendly people, a happy neighborhood atmosphere, and it’s the first place on your left as you drive off the free and very delightful Merrimac ferry. A great road trip from Madison.
