Bananas

We came here for an afternoon snack after hot day of shopping at the outlet. It was quite refreshing to watch them make a smoothie with real fruit. The prices could be a bit on the high side but that is to be expected for the location.

Located in the Merrimack Premium Outlets food court, Bananas serves up fruit smoothies & frozen nonfat yogurt (cups, cones, waffle cones, yogurt shakes, sundaes, banana split). The prices here are high as expected in an outlet mall food court. I got a regular size Mango Magic Smoothie ($ 4.99 plus tax), which was made to order and blended with sugar strawberries, pineapple, mango, coconut crème, nonfat frozen vanilla yogurt & ice. The smoothie itself was refreshing and on the sweet side, like a soft fruit shake, not too thick. I could taste strawberries, but the vanilla yogurt dominated over the rest of the fruit flavors.
Overall, not bad. My favorite mango smoothies are still made at Jamba Juice, Tropical Smoothie Café, and Robek’s.
