Cinemagic Stadium Theaters

There are not too many cinemas in the Nashua-​Manchester area, so we are happy to have this one to go to. It’s easier to rate a movie than a theater itself, but we do like it because there is lots of parking, the theater itself has very comfortable seating and reasonable prices, and it’s clean. The candy is very tempting, but I usually pass on it. When I have broken down and had some, it’s been fresh and enjoyable (except for the guilt it induces).

this is a top notch movie theatre. Ive been happily going here with my family for 15 years. Ive always been treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. the management is very accommodating. When ive ever had a minor problem, it has gotten immediately resolved. The staff and even the movie goers are always pleasant, its not just a movie its a «night out on the town!) 5 out of 5 stars

This theater forced us to sit through twenty minutes of not only preview after preview, but commercial after commercial. I mean Geico commercials, Toyota truck commercials, and on and on. The movie started twenty minutes after the published start time, and since we arrived ten minutes early (expecting a prompt start time, our bad) we watched thirty minutes of commercials and previews, in total. I was so thoroughly sick of watching commercials that I was ready to leave before the feature even started. This was our time, on a Saturday. We paid money to see a movie, and instead we became a captive audience to whatever number of commercials Cinemagic decided to inflict upon us. Never again… we’ll wait and watch it on Blu-​Ray or cable.

I attempted to purchase tickets online and recieved an error message. I noticed my card was still charged. I contacted movie
, the vendor and they were very rude and told me it was a temporary hold. Yesterday, the transaction cleared my account and I contacted them again… This time I have to contact the theater directly. Did that, no response or help!
Essentially my $ 47.50 was stolen!!!
NEVER use their online site!!! AWFUL customer service!!!

Horrible. Horrible screens. So old and fuzzy, my tv at home may not be this large but the picture is so much better than this one in all aspects. Their popcorn tastes more like cardboard microwaved popcorn. I actually would much rather have microwaved popcorn right now. They should install a microwave and have people bring their own from home. It would probably ensure a much better experience for their guests. Also another thing there are no student discounts and only one combo. They have the most generic food you could have at a movie theater and it all tastes stale and old. As for inside the screening rooms a wooden chair would feel nicer then their theater chairs, don’t be afraid to sit higher up as you sink like a rock in the seats even If you only weigh around 110lbs. They are very short staff and no one was at the podium to take the tickets and direct us to the correct screening room. Once we got to the theater number 4 we realize oh well don’t 3D movies require glasses. After running to the front only to wait in line again asked for the 3D glasses. Like ok I get it this isn’t a top notch theater but come on if you aren’t going to wash your ancient looking 3D glasses don’t bother giving them to people. There were massive water spots all over the lenses And a sticky substance all over the frame. After scrubbing the glasses and realizing nothing was working and the 3D was actually more vivid to watch without their glasses we moved to the non 3D version of the movie. And its a bit better but the screen is just so dirty. Like I’ve been to older theaters and they still manage to give a better experience then you guys. I just moved to NH and this is a horrible chain. I’ve been to the other one in hooksett and it is not much better. Like honestly what is a good theater to go to that’s somewhat close to Manchester? Please anyone let me know because this is atrocious and I do not want to give them another penny for such a horrible customer experience.

This place takes the fun out of going to the movies.
The facility is dirty, cluttered and the young employees don’t even know how to smile.
As far as the movie itself: The sound was terrible and my TV has better picture quality. At one point during the film I could actually hear the movie going on in the adjacent theater.
Overall the movie Exodus: Gods and Kings was ***** 5 stars.
I will watch it again in a few months but IN MY OWN HOME where the sound, the picture and the cleaner space will make for a much nicer movie experience!

What a dump! Half the lights are burnt out in their signs, the place was filthy and run down!

Eh. That is all I can really say about this theater. Movie tickets are expensive in general. This theater specifically isn’t the cleanest. I don’t think they even have ushers that clean up after movies because there’s always popcorn and crap all over the floors. The bathrooms are also horrendous! Whatever you do, do not use the bathrooms. They are gross. From what I understand, this is a pretty new theater and with the prices they charge, you think they could afford to clean and/​or revamp the bathrooms at least.

It is really too bad that this place falls short in a couple of locations because they are really a new and nice location that has been kept very clean for a while. The issue (s) are that you can hear other movies while in your movie through the wall, in a lot of instances this really kills the movie you are watching. There are kids that put shopping baskets on their head in the lobby and there are pretty much all kids and morons that work here, coupled with how much you hear on the adjacent movies it pretty much sully’s the experience.

Went last night to see Zero Dark Thirty– you know it’s 2.5 hrs long! About half way in, the projector died. The audience informed the theater staff who said it would only be a few minutes to fix. Twenty minutes later, they told us again it would just be a few minutes and then other staff came in and told us they couldn’t fix it. Great, half a movie! Now what?! They gave us a refund, but it still doesn’t help the fact that I didn’t get to see the pic on date night with my boyfriend.
What bothered me even more (because I understand that sometimes equipment breaks) was that in that huge theater, they didn’t have one container of salt for my popcorn. No SALT?! Come on, you have to be kidding me. I told the manager this when she was refunding us and she said she knew and it would arrive tomorrow. Doesn’t do me good then. I would suggest that if a movie theater runs out of salt or other basics that can be be easily acquired at the grocery store, that they do that. I don’t care if it comes out of the managers wallet, you can’t do business that way.

Going to the movies is expensive everywhere, so their prices are fine to me. Better than AMC or anything else around.
Theaters are always clean which is nice. I’ve been to a couple midnight showings there and they typically run things well. Overall, it’s a solid theater and for what you have to pay to see a movie, it’s nice when the theater is quality too.

As far as the theater experience, I think it works very well. The stadium seating is great as you don’t have to worry about who is in front or behind you. Also there is a lot of leg room for those of us with long legs.
The food is a bit expensive and I was unhappy with the popcorn. I saw on a Foursquare tip that someone said to have them get the popcorn out of the bin instead of using a bag that has been sitting around. Of course I did not see this until after I had already purchased popcorn.
This was Sunday night and I don’t know how long the bag had been sitting around, but the first bag I got was pretty stale. So I took it back and they were very friendly about exchanging the bag for another (not even a hesitation). Since I had seen the Foursquare tip, I asked for popcorn out of the bin. I ended up getting half of a bag that was sitting around, and half from the bin.
The popcorn from the bin was overcooked (some pieces burnt) and the popcorn that was already in the bag which had been sitting around was stale. So I was unhappy with that experience. It was late Sunday night and I don’t judge on one outing so I will try the popcorn again and see if it is better next time.
Overall, great place to see a movie, food is a bit expensive (but I understand that that is where they make their money), and the popcorn was not up to par but I will give that another chance.

Stadium Theater Seating.
Wide variety of concesions including hot dogs, burgers, nachos, coffee, and more. Of course, popcorn, soft drinks, and candy-​o-​plenty.
Nothing spectacular, but fairly modern and clean.
One note on location: It is a bit difficult to find for first timers and non-​locals. Just make sure you have good directions or a GPS.

Overall, in terms of the actual theatre experince, it was great and worth the money.
There is stadium seating in every theatre I have been in. Great surround sound, comfey chairs that lean back and overall very clean.
The only complaints i have ate that the the food and drinks were WAY WAY over priced. A water was $ 4…I thought I was at the movies not Fenway geeze!
The second is that the staff is less than enthusiastic. They are mostly young teens who are pretty much just chatting behind the counter. Sorry to interuppt your chatting to make you do your job. I have never gotten a pleasnt attitude from anyone there. But I suppose you got to the movies for the entertainment inside the theatre rather than the customer service in the lobby.
also…if you go before noon… the tickets are a lot cheaper!

This is a very nice theater featuring stadium seating and some good munchies. The fried chicken balls thingies are pretty good, albeit $ 24 per nugget, but still good. Popcorn is typical movie theater popcorn, usual selection of food.
The service is pretty bad, the kids that work there are the usual teen angst type of kids that are far too important to worry about anyone over the age of 17.
The food is WAY WAY too expensive. I think a 6oz cup of green mountain coffee was $ 2.75. Large Diet Coke was like $ 4 or $ 5 but I guess that’s to be expected.
Most of the movies start 10 — 15 minutes late. The theaters though are pretty clean so I’ll give it 3 stars.

Cinemagic, where you can see movies, and stuff doesn’t always work…
Well, as the de facto movie theater for Nashua (explain to me again why the state’s second largest city has NO movie theaters within its limits…), Cinemagic is mostly it. Which means it’s also the place for insane lines on a Friday night.
What doesn’t work? Frequently, it’s the online ticketing. What’s the point of ordering your tickets if you can’t pick them up from the kiosk and you still have to wait on line. (The staff might try to convince you the real purpose is to ‘guarantee you a seat’, but who are we kidding? If you’re going to fork over the extra buck, it’s to avoid standing in line).
What else doesn’t work? Red Sox Gamenight, which was supposed to be available– you know, where they pipe the Hi Def NESN signal into the movie theater? Merrimack was originally listed as a location. In late May they said they did not have the «appropriate cable device necessary to show these games», and that it would be «1−2 months» away from resolving the problem.
Still, they sell goobers, which are crucial to one’s enjoyment of the movie.
Update: I added another star, because they collect the tickets up front, and then don’t check anything in the hallway — it makes for a great «freebie» double feature if you pick a second movie that starts close to the time your first one ends.
