History

Established in 1951.

S & J Motor Co., Inc. was established in 1951 by Sam Weisman in Nashua, New Hampshire. He ran a small used car lot, and believed that «providing excellent customer service is all you need to do and the repeat business will take care of itself.»

In 1970, he decided to move the car business to its current location in Merrimack, New Hampshire. Since then, the business has grown in retail, wholesale, repair and export. It is now owned by Sam’s son, Craig, who purchased the business in 1994. Until two weeks before he passed away at the age of 91, Sam would drive himself to the dealership every day to keep a watchful eye on things and enjoy conversations with the many relationships he had created over 55 years in the car business.
