Not a good experience. Unreliable and unprofessional.
I called in and made an appointment for noon the following day for someone to come out to measure, go through samples, and provide an estimate; fairly standard. I received a call back the same day from an estimator asking if he could stop by on his way home from work to do the estimate because it would be more convenient for him. This did not work for me so I said we should keep the appointment as scheduled for noon the next day. The next day I received a call shortly before the appointment letting me know that they could not keep their scheduled estimate and stated it wouldn’t just be 30 minutes or a couple hours later but wanted to do a different day altogether. This was absurd. I told them to just cancel my appointment. If they can’t operate with integrity and keep a simple estimation appointment, how am I supposed to have confidence in their work and installation dates? Moreover, I received a call about 45 minutes later from the estimator himself letting me know he was not going to be able to make the appointment I had already cancelled; poor internal communication.
I went with a competitor.

Don’t even bother with any other carpet business. Go straight here and meet Eddie. He will help you with absolutely no pressure, just honest prices, quick estimates and quick installation. Pat and Art are people of the highest caliber. They provide excellent customer service, a personal touch and back their product and service 100%. I bought all of the tile in my house from them 15 years ago and carpet recently. Both times have been a perfect experience. The installers ate professional and efficient. I will always shop at this family owned business.

I couldn’t be happier with this amazing family owned establishment. Do not turn away based on the physical appearance. Once you walk in, you have a plethora of options to choose from! We had three rooms we wanted carpeted. Pat greeted us almost immediately and showed us around. She was genuine and showed us options that would work best and not based on price. Her husband came and measured our rooms and gave us an AMAZING price we couldn’t refuse. It was by far cheaper than any other places we went to and we visited at least 4 other places. The installation took a total of 1.5 hours. They were so quick and did an efficient job!!! I love the quality of carpet! I couldn’t be happier! We want to get new tile eventually and this will be our go to place forever! Thanks A&P!!!

As good as advertised… Needed carpet for the home we had just purchased… did research and found the good reviews for A&P so we drove out to Mesa to check them out. We were honestly concerned when we found there building was an old gas station and there wasn’t much of a showroom.
We walked up and got pleasant service, the product looked good and the price was very reasonable. We found a carpet we liked, and it was name brand. We decided to give them a try and glad we did. They came out first and measured to give an accurate estimate for the job. Then, within 2 days, they were back installing our new carpet.
Everyone we encountered was friendly and professional, from the shop, to the estimate and the installers. Those 2 guys laid our carpet in a half day and did a great job.

When I first found this company, I was so excited about the carpet and pricing. Being a first time homeowner, they made it seem easy and completely put my mind at ease. That is, until they showed up to do my carpet and didn’t install it correctly not once, not twice, but three times. You know, as they say «third times the charm». I called the owner of the company to notify him about the poor quality of work that was done on my staircase. He did come out that same morning to check the issues and after a brief argument on how poorly the stairs were done, he not only said he would compensate me for my time, but would have his staff come out to re-​do the staircase to my satisfaction, if I gave them a good review. The man who came out to fix the carpeting on the staircase made the original job worse. After checking the stairs and seeing that he literally made cuts in the carpet on every single stair, the carpet was already lifting when walked on, and had noticeable gaps between the walls and the stairs, I repeatedly asked the installer to fix the issues before he left. Unfortunately, he did not, but constantly asked if the job was ok as he was in the process of walking out my front door to get to another job. After a second call to the owner and yet another argument over the phone, they sent out another employee to fix the issues with the stairs. Finally on the third time they came out, the stairs were done correctly. As of yet, a month later, I have yet to receive the promised compensation from the owner and have not heard anything from them regarding their lack of customer service. The hassle and arguments over basic installation was stressful and delayed the move in process. I would never recommend this company to anyone looking to get their carpet done. It is worth the extra money to save on time and get the quality of services one deserves. If you want an honest company (owner) that you can trust and stands by what was promised for the monetary compensation and quality of workmanship, DO NOT use this company.

I needed new carpet for my home and reached out to a wide range of companies. After receiving multiple quotes and talking through my home, I decided to go with A&P to order and install the carpet. I’m glad that I did! They did a great job and were easy to work with.
They had a wide range of carpets available to view, and the prices were competitive, beating many of the others. While they may not have been the overall cheapest, they were the most knowledgeable and so I trusted that their work would be better than anyone else’s at that price point. Even when we had a minor communication issue that led to a walk-​in closet being missed, they made sure that things were done correctly and came back to fix it all.
I definitely recommend A&P Carpet for any of your future carpet needs.

Where to even begin? We have used them several times but on this last project the level of service and attention to detail Art and Pat put into every encounter is just so refreshing. They are real genuine hard working people who have aligned themselves with contractors who also have the same mentality. But Art and Pat were both hands on throughout the entire carpet selection, measuring the floors and ensuring the contractors arrived on time and prepared. It is such a pleasure to work with them — they are very knowledgeable in their field. Their shop is super busy all the time but how they navigate and give each client attention is remarkable. They have an amazing selection of carpet and wood and allowed us to take samples to the new house to ensure it would work. They were so incredibly accommodating to our schedule which we really appreciated. This is one place I have already recommended to friends and will continue to do so. Within 3 days of escrow closing they were done with carpet and wood installation. Thank you for everything! We really appreciate you both and your contractors.

You will feel great about getting your carpet here as soon as you start comparing their prices to other carpet shops. The quality of the carpet they offer for the price was outstanding. Everything went smoothly and we are extremely happy with our carpet purchase.

I brought my in laws here to buy new flooring. They’d already shopped all over the valley and seemed overwhelmed with choices and various pricing and seemingly useless information. We came to A&P and within minutes we all knew we’d come to the right place. The salesman asked the right questions to guide them toward the best product for their wants/​needs.
While I was there, I caught a glimpse of some dense padding that I needed for a professional drapery table. Of course, I returned for that and it’s perfect for that project.
If you want a good price and want to go to a company that treats you like a valuable customer, I know you won’t be disappointed by stopping in to see the people at A&P carpet!

Their installer did an excellent job in our movie room! Love the carpet and will be using them when we replace the carpet in our house! Amazing prices here too!!!

Need carpet? Go here!!! We are moving out of state and selling our home. We needed to replace the carpets thanks our the poodle when he was a puppy. I guess he really likes carpet pad and spent his free time ripping up carpet so he could chew on the pads.
Of course I turned to Unilocal to guide me and read several 5 star reviews for A&P Carpet. I called at least 5 businesses and got multiple quotes. Art at A&P Carpet was very competitive in terms of pricing and was able to work with my schedule. I told him I was looking for basic carpet since we were selling, he pointed me in the right direction and I picked from two colors.
I am staring at the new carpet now and it looks fantastic. The carpet installer showed up promptly and did not waste any time. He was very professional and did a phenomenal job. He has over 20 years of experience and it shows.
Art has also been in the industry for a long time as well. I met Pat when I went to the carpet warehouse to check out the selection of carpets, she is very sweet. You will not be disappointed, all the 5 stars only support the customer service and pricing that this local business has to offer. Save yourself time on multiple quotes, I did it already and A&P Carpet is competitively priced.

These guys are the best! Great prices, and their carpet is the same high quality brands of carpet other stores I looked at sold. They will bend over backwards to accommodate your needs. I was preparing to show my house on a Saturday. They came out Thursday night measured my house and gave me the lowest prices of anyone. Friday they installed over 1500 sqft of carpet and it looked GREAT. Unbelievable service.

I had the pleasure of visiting here last week, I have to say I was pretty impressed with the hospitality of Pat, the owner. As we were looking at the carpet, she brought us some bottled water and was very courteous and knowledgeable. Also, there was a pretty amazing selection of carpet. They really have something for everyone. They have outdoor carpet, indoor carpet, lots of different colors and textures. So many times when you look at carpet all they have is a little sample for you to look at. It’s pretty neat to see the massive rolls of carpet, it gives a better picture of what it would look like over a large area. I had my 6 year old with me and he has a short attention span, but he enjoyed our visit here. The prices are better than competitors and the carpet is good quality. We had our whole house done, (the bedrooms and the living room) and we love it.

We replaced the nasty carpet in our house when we bought it and went with A&P and dont regret it. We called on Friday, got a quote immediately. Looked around and they were the least expensive and seemed to be the most trustworthy. Sunday we told them we’d go with them and by noon on Monday it was installed! Looks great so far and is cozy… Of course I dont know how it will hold up years from now, but the way my experience with them has been so far, I trust it will be fine. Very friendly and helpful as well!
