Am2pm Carpet Cleaning

This outfit is a complete joke. My wife and I live in a senior estates mobile home with 2 small bedrooms, a living room and very small dining area. My wife was quoted at 75.00 on the phone. Then a young guy comes out tells me it will be 225.00. I told him no way., we finally agreed on 100.00. Not more than a week later the carpet stains were all coming back. The guy rushed the job was done in 30 min. Do not use this place, they should not even be in business.

Total CON job. The flyer said one thing at a low price, however when they get there the price jumps dramatically. They said cause the place was so big they would be there til midnight working on the carpet. I should have know better when they were done in two hours with the whole house, carpet and tile. This would be bad enough, however their ability to clean carpet and tile sucks. The tile was left with Hugh puddles of water, when questioned they said its the norm for cleaning this type of tile. Later when the carpet dried I checked the tile in the basement and they didn’t even touch it – still just as dirty as before. However when the puddles dried up, the dirt and residue was all over the place. Sadly the carpeting didn’t fare much better, they left a fowl smell, which we paid extra so it wouldn’t happen. I have never paid some much to have such poor service — I wouldn’t recommend this outfit to my worst enemy. Man do I feel like a sucker,

I see these guys are back in business. They ruined our carpet and although they offered a partial refund, the check took weeks to arrive and when it did… it bounced.
No accountability. No personal responsibility. Avoid businesses with no integrity – like these guys.

Conn artist! 4.95 a room they tell you then hit you up for 25 $ travel fee they don’t retell you .20 cents a foot for detergent! Lmao what a joke!

Let me just start by saying that I do not leave reviews often, but this company just compelled me to warn others to stay away, and not even because of the services but because of their complete lack of professionalism and empathy. So my husband and I were moving out of our apartment this weekend and needed someone to clean the carpets for a decent price since our complex required they be professionally cleaned. They were nice enough over the phone and booked me an appointment. As it turned out, I had a medical emergency and my husband could not make it to our old apartment for the appointment as we moved 2 hours away. He tried to call several times the day before the appointment and the morning of to cancel and kept getting a full voicemail. The technician texted us to let us know he was there, so my husband called that guy to let him know he tried to cancel to no avail. He said it was no problem. Not even 5 minutes later, I get another text from some other number basically putting us on a guilt trip:
” We have been booked up for the last month.. We are turning down people right before xmas because we are so busy.. I squeeze you in and then you cancel on my technician. Thanks.“
There was never any mention of them being booked up when I spoke to the guy at the number on their website, nor did he mention that he was «squeezing us in». Very unprofessional and rude, it blew my mind. Based on the other reviews I now see here, I am glad that we ended up being unable to use their services. It’s no wonder they claim to be the cheapest in the valley. They have to in order to get new customers since they burn bridges with any former ones.

Worst experience ever! The company sent a coupon and when I called to set up I asked if there were any other fees. They said no and that it was $ 6.95 per room, $ 2 a stair and a $ 15 service fee. I was expecting a $ 70 fee. When they got here they quotes me $ 130!!! That’s twice as much! I told them to forget it and they could leave. On principle alone I wouldn’t pay that much because I find it so unethical. The main guy was not even nice about it. Did the whole let me call my boss and see if we can do something. The next quote was $ 150 and two more rooms. I’m sorry guy, you’re going In The wrong direction! I told them no again. Next call $ 100…Um still no! Finally came down to $ 10 more than I was quoted and told them fine. When I asked how I could pay they said cash only which was not specified on the coupon. Luckily I had it. Salesperson was so rude and condescending! Will never ever use this company again! Disgusting! If I could give –0 stars I would!

Do not trust these guys. they gave me a price over the phone and I when I ask if there’s other hidden charge they say no. when the tech got here .he gave me a ridiculous price. wayyyy over price… seems very shady. they just want to give u a low price over the phone so they can hit u with the real price when they get to your house. hoping you will just do it cuz they are already there…

I had them schedule for vent cleaning. He cleaned our the vents letting all the dust get on the counters in the kitchen, restroom and the bedrooms. So upset. I thought it was help cleaning the dust but not to scattered everywhere else in the house. Look for others before calling them. Waste of money.

I booked an appointment in spite of the reviews and I’m pleased with the work. Now, I will say up front that the quote after the tech got there horrified me. However, he called his boss and they gave me a deep discount and brought the price down into a range I could deal with. My carpets look good and the tech was polite and fast.
And get this… he was EARLY. My window was from 2 — 5 and he called me at 1:40 and told me he was on his way.
Because I know they read these reviews, I will say that, as someone who has been in marketing and advertising for 10+ years, you should just add the pre-​conditioning to the price. You are still about half what other places charge with that added in. Don’t low-​ball yourselves to get more business. People will be pleasantly surprised if you come in and say it will be less than what you quoted them over the phone and there’s less sticker shock than if they’re expecting to pay $ 5/​room.

I would never uses these guys! Their hose broke and blew water all over my TV. The guy wasn’t even going to tell me, luckily my cleaning lady was here to get my attention.
They told me to get a new TV as insurance would cover it. I have let to see a check! This place is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with.

We received an advertisement for a special on air duct cleaning @ $ 5.99 a vent. After adding up our vents and taking into consideration any additional fees not disclosed, as well as the «fine print», we figured out the cost to be $ 150-​$ 200. When their service technician showed up for our scheduled appointment, he looked in 2 vents and then quoted me a price of $ 822, stating that I need to read the fine print which states there could be additional fees. This was completely out of the ballpark of previous quotes we received and not even close to the company’s advertised price. After I clearly stated my shock and disappointment to the tech, he told me he could «call his manager to see what he could do». I explained to him that his price was so far out of the average that it wasn’t necessary to call his manager. He continued to do this back and forth shady salesman type of behavior with calling his manager several times. I told him I wasn’t interested and asked him to leave. He then said «well you know there is a cancellation fee». This was not disclosed anywhere in the ad and I advised him of this. He then told me «well there is mention of a travel fee in the ad». I had not signed or agreed to anything. I told him I would not pay any fee and his response was «really…you’re not going to compensate me for my time or travel? I came all the way from Mesa.» I refused. I continued to become more frustrated and asked him again to leave. He continued to try to sell me on «partial services» to reduce the cost. Literally, I was ready to call the cops to make this man get out of my house. Still after about 20 more mins taking his time getting the few things he brought in for equipment out of my house, he finally left. This company is a complete joke. Do not use their services. They are so shady. I will make sure I warn everyone that I know about this company.

Whether this place is good at their job or not, the comments left from Gary are very unsettling. In this business, the customer is ALWAYS right. PERIOD. If someone at your company, gives quote, stand behind it. Even if it’s money out of your pocket. The customer will appreciate it and come back again. If there are extra charges, explain them. Negotiate a lesser amount that covers your cost but didn’t leave the customer feeling like they were just taken to the cleaners (as they’re anticipating) via hidden charges.
I’m sure there are hiccups with scheduling and misunderstandings. Thats life. But customer service law says,“Make it RIGHT!” Take off $ 20 for the inconvenience. Clean an extra chair. Above all, get rid of the «We’re doing YOU a favor attitude!»
There should be a point where quotes aren’t given over the phone. That seems to be a common complaint threaded throughout these reviews. So just STOP. Base cleaning on sq. footage or take quotes after visiting the site!
AM2PM has their work cut out for them trying to overcome such negative reviews… but start with CUSTOMER SERVICE!

UPDATE: Gary, I did try your services. I was quoted $ 100 based on rooms/​stairs, and my husband, bless him, didn’t know any better and paid $ 140. I contacted your business to ask why the difference in price and was told there was a spot treatment and a mis-​price that would be refunded. Well, the spot is still there and the refund is yet to be seen. Regardless, I consider the overcharge a sting to remind me: 1) Read reviews before moving forward with too-​good-​to be-​true offers, and 2) Not to leave my husband with the checkbook.

I guess I should have come to Unilocal first and read that they had all 1 star reviews. Now I see why!

Received Flyer in the mail for $ 4.95 per room. I was told that not all rooms require pre stain treatment and that my total would be $ 80 or so. I was surprised when the gentlemen that arrived told me it would be $ 150 + 15.00 trip charge.
They called to let me know that they would be an hour late for our appointment.
They ended up pretreating my whole house, and sadly it did not look much better than before I called them. Stains were still visible and noticeable.
I will not use them again. For the price, you can find a lot better, and you will NEVER have your rooms cleaned for $ 4.95/ room.

We only have two dogs and peeing on the carpet wasn’t what turned it yellow. It was the «pre treat» solution they used before they started the carpet cleaning. Also, the check he promised after repeated calls to him asking for it, did finally show up. I took it to his bank and presented it for payment. I was turned away as the account did not have sufficient funds to cover the check for $ 150.00 (which was only a portion of the $ 414.00 I was charged for the original tile and carpet cleaning.)

We received a flyer and we called and were given a firm price on the phone to have our ducts cleaned. We reconfirmed with the person answering the phone that there would be no additional charge than what was quoted on the phone, $ 150 something. When the techs came out, they of course were astonished that we had received such a quote and proceeded to give us a true quote of app $ 375. We called the office and talked to someone other than the person who gave us the original quote and he was of course confused and said that the first person would never have given a quote like that and implied that we were wrong. When we threatened to contact the BBB they back peddled and told us they would do it for the original amount quoted. They did come back out after we told them that we weren’t interested in paying $ 375 and did the job. RUN DON’T WALK TO A REPUTABLE COMPANY.

Extremely deceitful on their pricing! Buyer beware, quoted price was about 4x lower then it came out to be. Charged for pre conditioning for entire Sq ft area of carpets so the room charge is just an additional charge to their pre conditioning for $ 0.20 a Sq ft. Ps our carpet was in pristine condition with no spots to be seen so they will tell you, you need that. Expecting under $ 50 and paid $ 150 after complaining and getting $ 30 off.

They never showed up for the appointment and finally called an hour after the appointment time. They claimed that they knocked on the door — nope. After reading the reviews below, however, I’m kind of glad that they didn’t come.
