Our medical practice, staff, and expert Pain Management doctors’ singular mission is to successfully manage and alleviate your pain, and elevate your quality of life.
Very disappointed. The doctor didn’t even look me in the eye, yet alone examine my back and shoulder. I’m not even confident he actually read my MRI as he said everything looked normal, yet I continued writhing in pain. Subsequent doctors confirmed 2 slipped discs, a torn rotator cuff and bicep tear from the same tests. I am dumbfounded to believe a doctor can miss this, and leave a person untreated like I was. Such a waste of time. After I left their care, they then started to hound me to come back with numerous telemarketing type phone calls. Apparently I’m not the only patient they had trouble retaining if the staff is trained to call like salesman needing to make a quota. So disturbing.

My overall experience with AZ Pain n Spine has been a stellar one. From the ladies at the front… gate guards I call them lol. Dr. Ryklin is a caring guy. and I can’t say enough about AMY. the Dr. Assistance… who I seen the most. she is very savy in what she does. .and just as important is her SENSEOFHUMOR… I don’t how she does it considering the mood people are in when they get to the office. Sooo .all in all I’d give them A plus. Hon.F.lee.Archer. Ret. Uh you see that Amy. Lee not Frank lol… mmmm kinda a inside joke

Have been with Dr. Ryklin since he started his practice; he’s a great doctor, but his staff is so bad it’s not worth going there. Since the clinic has grown, the doctor now only sees new patients, and then abandons you to a nurse practitioner for ongoing care. That wouldn’t be a problem if the nurse practitioner could maintain proper records, but in my case, she made a mistake describing my treatment, and my insurance denied coverage. I went back in to get the paperwork error corrected, and they actually expected me to pay for another office visit to fix their error! The front office staff is about the least competent group of people I have ever had to deal with, they keep leaving phone messages on the wrong number after having been told repeatedly to update the records. TLDR: Used to be a good clinic couple of years ago, but now they can’t keep records straight and have become so big they just don’t care about individual patients anymore.

Dr. Khan has been great! He understood my pain in my lower back and has me on a path of treatment to help. Dr. Khan has a great bedside manner. The office is very busy but, there goal is to help. Also, the office staff are nice as well. I go for my 1st set of injections in 3 weeks. Upon receiving the injections they only helped a little but now they have me on another treatment plan. The PA Amy is a great and funny.

I have been under the care of another pain specialist for many years but had insurance changes that forced me to find a new provider. Dr. Ryklin and his associate, Claudia have completed diagnostic tests that I have never had with my old provider. It was found that I had a problem that could be treated and, hopefully, a relief of pain I’ve been struggling with for years.

I agree with the other poster, this place is interested in your(or your insurances) money. I have back pain from a car accident. They ordered an MRI and weirdly enough I have a «slightly» bulging disc in the same spot I have pain. But it’s considered«normal» in their eyes. But at the same time still continue to order tests. Ordered a steroid shot in my back for the area that was considered«normal», but if it’s normal why do I need it? Hmmmm. Oh yeah. Because my insurance can pay out a pretty penny for it. And I really don’t like when the doctor says he will come back in the room to talk to you, then sends his assistant to talk to you and sends you on your way.

Dr. Asim Khan– Dr. Khan delivered to my day a complete uplifting experience. Absorbed in my pain and difficulty, he swiveled my head around with an optimistic outlook by making a positive program of treatment. My prospective has improved 180 degrees. He listens thoroughly and at the same time takes charge and makes plans. Compared to many others, I have a lot of confidence in him.
