Autozone

I am navajo and was taking a six hour trip back to the reservation to visit family. A light came on in my car and I stopped in to make sure it wasn’t anything that would (should) delay my trip. I explained my situation and asked if someone could read the car code. Soon after the guy started making racist comments to me about how all natives are drunks (I am half white Also so I thought maybe he didn’t know I was Navajo.) When I said «excuse me, I am a native.» He cut me off and said «so you know what I mean then?» I was so angry and shocked that he just continued and didn’t stop and apologize. My husband and I just got in the car and left. I should have called corporate and I really regret not doing so but I don’t remember his name and it’s been weeks.

Mario the store manager is one of the best employees autozone has. I travel for my job so I pass a lot of autozones and have sampled most in the valley and for that matter auto part stores in general. Mario has never not been able to help and always has a happy and cheerful attitude. I have all vintage cars and tractors and he has never been stumped.

not very knowledgeable.. . came in for an inline 15 amp fuse and holder. .. The dude couldn’t find a 15 but suggested his 30 would be fine! Might as well have connected the wires and waited for something to melt ;-)

Does 4 stars seem high for an auto store? I gave this auto zone that bcuz they had a good selection of steering covers and car smelly goods which is what I came for great customer service too plus I guess I needed some antifreeze which was on sale. I’ll be back!
