Baseline Mechanical

This is an update to my previous review. The owner of the business reached out to me recently to resolve this old issue. I appreciate how he made a big effort to get a hold of me. I was touched by his generosity, integrity to his business. It made me feel he truly wants his customers to be happy with their services. Everyone make mistakes. Good people do deserve a 2^nd chance. This was definitely a positive experience.

Baseline Mechanical is a great HVAC company, great experience anytime something goes wrong with my unit. Integrity and hustle. Can’t beat it!

I’ve used Baseline Mechanical for my personal and business A/​C work. They’ve installed a total of 8 HVAC units for me between my home and business, as well as done service calls on units they did not install.
The installers and service technicians are dependable and knowledgeable. They show up on time, they respond to emails and phone calls, and they do fantastic work. Their prices are always competitive and usually you’ll get the best bid from them.
I referred them to my parents for some A/​C work after another company quoted them over $ 1,000 to fix their unit. Baseline came out, inspected the unit, and cleaned it, which was all it needed, saving my parents about $ 1,000.
That’s what makes Baseline so exceptional: they are honest and operate with integrity. I highly recommend them for all of your HVAC needs, both installs and service.

Baseline Mechanical just earned a lifetime customer this weekend. Just got back in town Friday late night to find the A/​C blowing warm air and was not happy. Made contact with Baseline that evening and got a call back first thing Saturday morning letting me know they could have someone out at 10 a.m. So right away I am impressed; quick call back, on a weekend with a same day appointment, AND in the morning!
Jay arrived on time and ready to go. (I know that sounds like a no brainer but I have had companies that show up on time, but then they were sitting in their vehicle either on the phone or filling out paperwork; probably from the previous job)
Jay started right away and had it diagnosed in minutes. He was straightforward and let me know it was a fairly common problem and would not be an overly complicated fix. Second time I am impressed — no upselling! I’m sure Jay could have convinced me of any number of expensive repairs but he took the time to explain the problem and let me know what needed to be done to fix it. After hearing all the horror stories from friends and neighbors of how expensive repairs could be, I prepped myself for the estimate… Gave me the estimate which sounded fair (maybe a little lower than expected?) based on what was being done so I gave him to ok to go. He was very professional and had everything needed for the repair on the truck. Once the unit was running I asked if he could check the Freon levels which turned out to be low. Jay added the Freon and from his 10a.m. arrival to cold air blowing again it was less than two hours!

Baseline Mechanical was professional, swift and extremely helpful. As a first time home owner, I had a lot of questions, they took the time to walk me through all of my options and answer EVERY question I had! The installation was quick and the team stayed until the unit was up and running. I would absolutely recommend Baseline Mechanical for your HVAC needs. Ken and Jay have a great team!

Awesome company! Friendly reception when I called this morning to request AC repair. When the receptionist told me someone could come this afternoon, I requested a call a little bit ahead of time so that I could kennel dogs. The repairman called me less than a hour later and said he could be there in 30 minutes, if that was alright.
He showed up exactly on time, was very professional, and did not try and sell me anything I did not need. He replaced the broken part in less than an hour for an amazingly good price. I had called them originally based on the recommendation of a friend, combined with their Unilocal reviews, and am very happy I did so!

Baseline Mechanical is awesome! Answered the phone at 6:30am and the service tech was here by 9am. In the AZ Heat every minute matters and i’d highly recommend them for your residential a/​c service. Cliff diagnosed quickly the part that failed, and told me the new part will come with 1 yr parts labor warranty. He gave me a very reasonable quote and even gave me a discount for local radio ad. Excellent customer service and had the parts in his truck and had my a/​c fixed and cooling in about 30 min from start to finish. Call them they are that good

It is pretty simple, but a concept that seems to be lost on so many other companies. When I called Baseline, they responded promptly. They arrived on time, they were friendly, professional and fixed my AC system quickly. There was no «up sell» to recommend more work than was needed and the final cost was fair and reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again and I will recommend them to my friends and family.

Fourth of July weekend Sunday morning, home a/​c went out. I called three businesses from here. Baseline Mechanical is the only one that responded. Spoke to Amanda. she scheduled someone and they came out in 2.5 hours. Jason arrived and found bad capacitor. In all, he replaced capacitor, added 1.7lbs of refrigerant, and tested the system in 2.5 hours for 375.00 including the 95.00 service call. I feel pretty good about the pricing and they actually called me back!!!

I can’t recommend them highly enough. As a small business owner, when your A/​C stops working and you have clients scheduled to come in to see you, they are going to be very unhappy to be sitting in a room that is slowly elevating to boiling temperatures! This is the case that happened today when our A/​C stopped working around noon, quite possibly the worst time for your A/​C to go out. We had called a company recommended by one of our staff, but they could not come in until tomorrow morning. We called Baseline Mechanical– they were extremely sympathetic, and rushed over to help us fix our problem. Jason came over to look at our compressor, and we can’t thank him enough for getting up on our roof in the sweltering heat to fix our A/​C. They do honest, straightforward work, and really care about getting a job done right. We will definitely be using them in the future.

I referred Baseline Mechanical to some friends, that live down the street and they are an elderly couple in their 80’s and they had no a/​c and their a/​c was making noises since they moved in over a year ago. My friends called and talked to Amanda and they came out almost immediately and took care of her, saving her almost $ 300 on a compressor that they had already got a bid on to do the work for over $ 1000, luckily I had them call Baseline Mechanical. Thanks for great, honest and hard working job to take care of a friend. You guys are awesome and as a small business owner/​operator, I truly am Thankful for you guys. Thanks.
