History
Established in 2012.
The owner, Jason Gartner, had been working for several years as a guitar and music teacher. He had noticed that many people needed or preferred In-Home Music Lessons over coming to the store for lessons. He found himself very busy teaching at homes. He soon recognized the highest priorities for providing quality services as an in-home music teacher, and began working with fellow music professionals to form a business that meets this need while still offering collaborative opportunities, recitals and other services that help students to get the full experience. Bring The Music 2U, LLC was formed in the Spring of 2012.
Meet the Business Owner
Jason G.
Business Owner
Jason has been playing his main instrument, guitar, for over 25 years now. He has played in alternative and heavy metal groups. He has also played in jazz ensembles and classical ensembles. He has taught guitar for 7 years. He has also taught some ukulele, bass, and drums. An award winning composer in his college years, Jason also teaches composition and theory to young up-and-coming musicians in rock groups.
Jason grew up in Payson, AZ, the son of the police chief. He learned the value of hard work and was raised with high standards. He served a 2 year mission in Argentina, and is fluent in Spanish. Along with several musician that he greatly respected, he started Bring The Music 2U, LLC after finishing his college career. He now uses his father’s private investigation company to provide background checks on everyone that he works with, and feels that this is one of the most important details in running a good In-Home Music Lesson service.
