EcoShield Pest Control

I wish there was a better way to handle this situation, because I have tried everything else. I also wish there was a Negative star system. I Own 2 businesses and I understand things happen, Its really about how you handle and resolve the situation!!!
I had the sales rep, Chase, that stated he was the owner show up to my door. Mind you I have been serviced at this home for Scorpions for the last year, and even though it had calmed, and the ones that I was seeing were at least dying, not fully alive or unaffected, during the summer was the worst it had ever been. So I decided to listen to what he had to say. He explained how on the first visit they do a complete sweep, and flush to cover the entire property, the block walls, the grounds, the trees, all the windows and doors the perimeter inside and out, and that the reason the initial service costs so much is because of this extent and the techs should be here for 2.5– 3 hours completing the interior and exterior. Also explained the program, and the 100% BACK guarantee, and the free reservices. He also stated that for signing up that day he would reduce the fee to $ 99. I called my husband while he was here, and he stated only give it a shot if that it does not work that we get our Money back in full. Chase stated «I give you my word, Because I know it will work» The schedule was set and the tech came to my home, 56 minutes late, knocked on the door, I let him in to spray, explained to him my concerns with having a baby and please be very complete with the spraying! He was done with the whole service in 47 minutes. MMM, the next few days, I saw many scorpion’s very much alive and non effected by the spray, and I sprayed them with my can of emergency spray. I called Chase and told him my experience over the last few days, and had sent him photos of the scorpion activity. He said lets do a reservice in a week, and I agreed. Over the next week, continued to see live activity and sent him photos, Than we had a mouse dropping in my laundry room, that I requested to receive some traps for, They had to schedule an appointment to be sure what I was seeing was mice, and the guy was suppose to leave traps at the same time. He didn’t have them, and was going to have to set another appointment to bring the traps and set them. I said just leave them for me and I will set them myself. No one ever came and brought them. The office lady was suppose to call and let me know when another tech would come out and bring them. A tech apparently brought them and set them somewhere outside, which I have still yet to find, and I didn’t need them outside, I needed them for the inside in the laundry room. I sent Chase a text letting him know my concerns, and that I didn’t understand why this was so difficult. He responded saying he apologizes and its not like I was requesting anything outrageous or out of the norm. He said this isn’t how we operate, and to give him a chance to make it right. They were suppose to bring me the items and re spray and the office was going to call, and never did, I sent him a message that said, «I apologize this isn’t going to work out No one called me or brought anything, I will just stick with my current company, and to please refund my money and take us off the list. I am sorry this did not work out, just very frustrated.» He sent me a text, «I understand, I am very sorry as well. This is not how we do business, and you are not have outrageous demands. Honestly I would do the same. I get back tomorrow, and I will get you squared away and contact you when taken care of» «Thank you Chase, I appreciate that.» «I apologize for the frustration we have caused» That was Sept 1, he called me and said he was going to bring the traps aand a check by, and than never did, and Than I text him on sept 8, 9^th, 11^th, he finally responded, that had been moving, and stated again that he would bring them by, And never heard from him again!!! So I had my credit card company hold the money, and someone from his company sent them a copy of the contract I signed saying this is the policy, bla bla bla, and I never said I didn’t sign something, I was just completely LIED to and frustrated. DID NOT receive the service I PAID FOR!!!
So now I get to take time writing this nasty review and warning people to NEVER use this company because they lie and make promises and do not follow through! Its not about the $ 99 he can keep it, but he has lost a customer and any referrals I would have sent their way!!! WARNING DO NOT Trust this company!!!

Love this company! The technicians are so friendly and professional. Everyone I’ve talked to in the main office has been equally pleasant and easy to work with. We have had NO problems with bugs since they’ve come out. Before we found them we had an enormous ant problem. Since we’ve had them, we’ve never had a problem. They have also fogged our backyard for mosquitos… which is awesome if your yard gets full of them like mine do!

If I could leave a review with zero stars I would. We have had this service for months and have had no «control» of our pests. We have had to call this company out numerous times for «free» treatments because what they do doesn’t work. I have had to spend the same amount of money buying chemicals myself and spraying my own yard/​house. Then finally when my wife calls just to cancel she gets the run around for 20 minutes, then told if we cancel we have to pay $ 200. She then demands a manager who was «in a meeting» but then when she was placed on hold for a minute they came back saying the manager waived it. Then when she was concerned about it being a «verbal» agreement she asked for email confirmation which we were told we would get and have yet to get that as well. Out of all the pest control companies that are out there I suggest looking elsewhere.

A few months back a sales guy stopped by my door. I’d been using one of the big name companies for years and I always had crickets or the occasional ant invaders. We would also find about one scorpion per year which I didn’t think was too bad considering that I live in Arizona.
This Ecoshield representative was convinced that he could stop my crickets and actually give me a money back guarantee on all of the other bugs. I was hesitant, but I figured I didn’t have much to lose. After all it’s just a bug guy.
After just a few short months of using Ecoshield I must say I am impressed. They are always punctual, well dressed and well mannered. And best of all I don’t have any more bugs! Thanks ECOSHIELD! I will definitely recommend you to others!!!

If I could give this place a ZERO, I would. A guy by the name of Kyle came through our neighborhood yesterday. This is a gated community that states no trespassing and no soliciting. When I answered the door, I specifically asked if this was a solicitation and he said no. He continued to tell me he does pest service for 3 neighbors down the street and gave me their names which didn’t sound familiar. Clearly, this was a solicitation so he’s a LIAR. A very shady guy. After I went inside, my husband researched this company online. This company had a D rating with the BBB with several bad reviews. Later that evening around 7:20 he was still here! We saw him roaming around our neighborhood. A couple other residents had confrontations with him. He’s was very rude and pushy. Another resident also told us he was marking homes with an X with blue chalk. I saw them and he marked our driveway. I don’t know what these marks mean but if he thinks he can come back, he is WRONG. next time I see this snake, the police will be here to escort him away.

Eco Shield Pest Control has been the best pest control I have ever found. We had their salesman Chase tell us he could take care of our scorpion and roach problem and the next day there tech came and sprayed our home. He went over and above what other techs have done in the past. We have been very pleased with their service and they have been so friendly and good to work with, if I have a problem I call Chase my salesman and he helps me out. I would highly recommend them!

A salesmen came unsolicited to our door, in a no soliciting community, and proceeded to be pushy and rude. He talked over me as I tried to politely decline. He pointed to my neighbors homes and used their first names insinuating that he was their provider. I would quickly discover that he was rude and pushy with them too. At least four of neighbors had the same report. You picked the wrong street Kyle. I don’t use pest control; haven’t in over 19 years of home owning. If I was to start, Ecoshield would be the last place I’d go. Your Being «green» is negated by your being RUDE, condescending and deceitful.

I just recently signed up for ecoshield. The first time they came out they were amazing! I had tons of spiders, and other bugs. They sprayed all inside and outside, put a substance in the grass for bugs out there, wiped down all the spider webs outfront and back, and im happy with it also because its ecofriendly for my baby and the aninals! Overall it was great, barely seeing any bugs anymore. Especially ants! Theyre all gone.

Always setting expectations ahead of time and always meeting the expectations they set which I appreciate. On the rare occasion I have followed up, Customer service was great. Techs are always friendly, and will offer an indoor service if you need one when they catch you else they just do the job correct and slip out like a ninja. Ronnie was great!

Had this guy come to my door one day selling pest control. I’m normally one that hates solicitors but I just so happened to be on the lookout for a new pest control company so I listened to what he had to tell me. Told him to come back in a few hours after I looked up the company’s reviews because I was skeptical and I wasn’t about to sign a contract with a company I’ve never even heard about before. So I did my online research found out they recently changed their name from Greensheild Pest Control and that company had good reviews. I also checked with the BBB and other places and couldn’t find anything negative about them so when the sales guy came back with the actual technician I told them to go ahead with it. I asked them about scorpions as well. I’m from the Phoenix area and my whole life was told you can’t spray for scorpions you can only spray for their food source so when the sales guy told me «yea our stuff kills scorpions, blah blah blah» I was like okay whatever. I’m sure it doesn’t but whatever just spray my house. Everything was done when it said it would be done, noticed the technician spent a little more time than I was used to on my house but whatever, okay. So imagine my surprise when about a week or so later I was in my backyard and found TWO DEAD SCORPIONS right up against the base of my house on my back porch!!! Dead like they were stretched out, dried out, dead as door knobs! In my whole life of living in Phoenix, in my years of getting bi-​monthly pest control service, in my years of paying out $$ to different pest control companies I have never, never, not ever once seen a poison that would kill scorpions after a spray. I’ve had pest control companies come and spray and then see the occasional dead cricket or dead roach in the back yard but the scorpions and spiders somehow always still hung around. Not as often but they were there. I was going around with the dead scorpions in the dust pan showing everyone «look at what I found in the back yard!!!» So they get a 5 star rating from me!!! Anyone that can kill the scorpions around my house gets a 5 star rating from me!!! So thankful I found them!!! It’s been almost 2 months now, still haven’t seen any living bugs in the yard. The spiderwebs are gone too. Used to have a new spiderweb every couple weeks hanging around the back porch but nothing since EcoShield came. Thanks guys!
