was gone all summer over 5 months, and was I could come back, turn on my tv and this stupid bitch singing this express flooring jingle had been hit by a bus, struck by lighting or just simply died. No such luck. WOW how long can this ugly fucking moron continue with tv ads when they are criminal in their business service??? READ THE REVIEWS PEOPLE. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS.

Get a price from a local carpet store first. These guys are high pressure and no deal!

This review is based on quality of pricing, not services or materials. Against my better judgment, made an appointment. I had doubts about their claims to begin with, but my husband insisted it was probably a place that made it up in volume. Couldn’t have been more wrong. The pricing was outrageous! First of all, let me say that the salesman was very nice and polite, but at the same time, they have some heavyhanded tactics. He showed us some samples, and was not very excited about any of them, they all seemed lackluster. He kept telling us this was overrun from very expensive hotels and offices and we were lucky they had enough to cover our order. Once we received the price, we were stunned, even after the senior discount and veterans discount. We told him that $ 11,000 was above our budget, and he called his supervisor, who took a little bit off the price. We said still too high, so he called the supervisor again who said we could receive another discount but we needed to move the furniture ourselves. Did I mention we are seniors — my hubby is over 70! I didn’t think that was really a nice way to treat your customers. We went with another company, and couldn’t have been more pleased. Their samples wowed us, they undercut the baseboards so it is a clean look, not just putting quarter round, which is what Express would do. In addition, Express said they would match the quarter round as closely as possible, but couldn’t guarantee a precise match. In addition, our transitions were grouted to match the tile abutting it and it is a smooth transition, not a piece of wood placed at the transition like Express would do. Our furniture was moved for free also, and it cost us $ 7,500. I would recommend doing your homework before signing on.

I recently purchased a house and wanted to get carpet installed in the master bedroom. I called express flooring being the only people I could remember that install carpet fast. Since I hadn’t yet moved into the house, I figured it would be better to install while the house was empty and I had just finished painting. I had my initial appt to pick carpet out on Friday ²⁄₁₄ and the sales guy informed me if I picked one of their in stock carpets, they could usually do next day installation. So I did, but they couldn’t get out until the following Wednesday ²⁄₁₉. First red flag.
They called me the day before to confirm. The day of installation, their installation manager called to tell me that their carpet had a defect and they couldn’t make the installation date. Ok I gave them a pass since they were saving me from faulty carpet. I was informed it would be in stock the following Monday ²⁄₂₄.
Monday came and went and I never heard from them so I called them on Tuesday. They supposedly emailed the installation manager who never got back to me until ³⁄₃. I called every day and they blew me off.
When they finally did get back to me that Monday, I told them if the carpet wasn’t in stock by Wednesday, then to just process a refund. This was taking too long for «in stock» carpet. Wednesday came and they never called. I followed up again on Thursday, and they set me up for Friday installation. Here’s the kicker, they KNEW the carpet was still not in stock! So needless to say they canceled on me again Friday at which point I asked again for a refund. They said they could come Saturday but I told them forget it. But now the person who does refunds wasn’t in the office until the following Monday.
So I call back Monday to speak with him. Play phone tag all day and he was gone by 1pm. Followed up AGAIN on Tuesday ³⁄₁₁ and finally get thru to him. I had Home Depot come out for an estimate at this point. I just needed carpet installed. Having just moved, my bedroom was in the middle of my living room at this point. The manager at express flooring offered me a significant discount and finally got my carpet installed on ³⁄₁₂. The only reason I let them do it at this point was because I just wanted the ordeal over with. I hope I never need warranty service from these guys.
The only reason they get one star is because the installers did a good job. Deal with this company at your own risk. You’ve been warned!

Pushy salespeople and bad prices. Once we said we only wanted an estimate since we were shopping around and pricing things out, the salesman got rude. He told us that he didn’t even want to waste his time showing us samples. Well, that’s one way to ensure not getting our business. We decided to go with a much nicer, less pushy, better priced competitor in the area.

They’re very dishonest and have no morals. They use very inferior products that was extremely underwhelming. And when I confronted them about it they simply lied and just wished me away. I would never recommend a friend or even an enemy to these despicable people.

After reading all the negative reviews, it’s amazing that I have had the same experience as so many of you. The late appointments, missed appointments, repair calls, no set price, few samples, customer service calls, disgruntled installers, installers who offer to do other jobs on the side, reports to the better business burea, the Registar of Contractors, and last but certainly not least dealing with Henry Jaffe. What a piece of work he is. I just keep hoping that all of the bad business practices will catch up to them.

Got the call at 8:30 am that truck was being loaded and installers would be on their way shortly. I responded that I was about thirty minutes out myself and was assisted that wouldn’t be a problem. At 10:30 am called them back to see where they were and was tools I had a 9am to 11am window and they should be here soon. Called them back at 1:30 pm and was told they would check on it and get back to me. When they did call me back, I was then told that the installer had decided to do another job first, but no one had bothered to let me know that my install would now be mid afternoon and would «probably» be done by dinnertime, if there were no problems with the flooring.
I haven’t even seen their work yet, so can’t say anything about quality, but I’m giving a 1 star for poor customer service and wasting my day.
I will definitely go with someone else next time, and will cancel on thus job if they’re are anymore issues.

My appointment was scheduled from 12 – 2.
At 1:45 I called to see what the deal was, guy finally shows up at 2:20 and proceeds to tell me the company history, as if I had time for that (ain’t nobody got time for that). I asked for an in home estimate measuring, samples, pricing, thats it. I don’t need to hear how you are sales and not commission and how you use to work for home depot and they suck and express is awesome etc etc.
«They bring the store to you» consisted of 3 samples, two of which were almost identical. The whole pitch was so scripted and phony. After my special «friend and family pricing» because the guy was late, and free installation, and 63% off of in stock carpet… it came out to be a little cheaper than home depots normal rates. Not impressed at all.

I hired Express Flooring to do a job for putting in tile in my kitchen downstairs, plus 2.5 baths, in my condo. Here are my concerns and what I see:
1) They planned for 1 day’s work, it took three days
2) They did do a good job in laying the tile
3) They also were very flexible, and I have to give them credit for the things they did out of courtesy
4) They were ill prepared to do the following:
A) Complete the job (though they did complete the job) – ended up being three
days work. They were not ready for this mentally.
B) Having the work tools to cut the T-​mold for the transitions between tile to
laminate (I had to have someone else do that for me, though they said they
can do it)
C) Lacking adequate quantity of tiling material. They did measure, but apparently
the crew they sent was apparently short of material, requiring an additional day
to get the material to the site (my condo).
Given my choice in the future, I probably will not be calling them for any kind of job. I will go elsewhere. This is simply due to A, B, and C. They may be good at sales, but the people who do the sales need better training obviously. They also need better management as far as people and materials.
