My wife and I just moved up to Chandler from Tucson. We went to the CSA in Tucson which is fabulous! We wanted to continue supporting local grown food and tried Loving Farms CSA. First off you have to pay for a 4 week share with no refunds. In Tucson when it is time to pick up the CSA you go there and get to meet the farmers who grew your food and picked it. If you don’t like an item they have a trade table where you can exchange one item for another one you like better. At Love Farms pick up it is at a public library with no one to greet you. Your bag of food is left on bench with your name on it so you just come pick your bag with no interaction with anyone. The first pick up we were very disappointed! The breakdown is $ 100 non refundable for 4 weeks of food. You pick up once a week so each week is $ 25.00 of food. I open the bag when I got home to find about less then $ 10.00 of food you would get at the grocery store. We had rotten vegetables in each pick up with them. We called to complain they explained their no refund for their share. We were stuck. I highly advise not to go with them. We will try the Farmers market in Gilbert and we hear there is a good CSA that you can sign up there.

Would be nice if Love Grows Farms followed through with their agreements.
