I was seen and given a paper copy for my prescription, later that day I was cleaning my vehicle and I’m pretty sure I accidently threw the paper copy away. I called into the office and left a voicemail asking an electronic copy be sent to my pharmacy. I didn’t hear anything back so the next day I again called and emailed them via the patient portal. This continued on and finally one day someone picked up and when I explained my situation they transferred me to another voicemail! Almost 7 calls and messages and to this day I still haven’t received a reply. I decided at that point to find another primary care doctor and then I received a bill for the service that I didn’t even use. I emailed the billing department and all of a sudden they can reply in a few hours and even called me about the questions on my bill. If you want a doctors office that cares more about you paying then receiving your medication then this is the spot for you, if you want an office that cares about you first I would recommend finding any other office.
Update– still not a single call or email back unless it’s with the billing department.

Receptionist was rude everytime I called. I never received any of my calls back after leaving countless voicemails. One particular problem I had was getting a simple name and phone number of someone THEY referred me to. Receptionist refused to take 2 minutes of her time to get this simple info out of my chart. No one from referrals ever called me back. The 4^th time I called, a month had gone by and finally the receptionist gave the information after I became irritated. The PA always looks unhappy with her job, and seems to be in a rush. Plan on changing my care soon. I am very flexible as long as there is a decent level of professionalism. There seemed to be a lack of that at Mckellips Family Medical. Was planning on bringing in my husband, but plan on finding him a place with better quality of care.

Doc Ferguson has a bed side maner like nobody else. I would highly reccomend him

My work needed me to schedule a physical with my primary doctor which was Dr. Carl Ferguson at this place. Dr. Ferguson has been great but his staff is useless. They re-​booked my appointment twice and when I finally got in they did not have me on their list for that day and would not see me.
I expect a LOT better from the medical field. I now have a new PCP.
