Mesa Montessori

This is a great preschool with excellent and caring staff. My older daughter attended this school for 3 years since she was 2 years and 9 month old to the end of the Kindergarten. She had a few potty accidents at the beginning but they handled it well. They also never forced her to take an afternoon nap, because she never wanted to sleep during the day. She learned a lot during her 3 years there, started to read independently before she turned 5 and was advanced compared to other children when she started 1^st grade.
This is a small school with a family atmosphere (parents and children all know each other) and good Montessori traditions (the Head Montessori teacher Ms Patty has been at the school for 35 years). It has spacious two classrooms (kids are never crowded and have a space to spread around) and a separate nap room, big playground to run around or play with sand toys or hide and seek, etc. There is also flowers and vegetable garden and my daughter loved eating for snack fresh reddish, lettuce and spinach from their garden. Snack is provided 2 times a day and there is a fridge for kids lunchboxes and a microwave to heat them up.
More importantly, my daughter loved Mesa Montessori school so much that she often asked me on week-​ends if she could go to her school. When it was time to move on to public school she asked if she could stay forever at Mesa Montessori until she grows up.
Overall this was a great experience for us and now my younger daughter is attending Mesa Montessori for the third year.
