History
Established in 2013.
After moving in 2010 from Ashland, Ore., to Mesa, Ariz., I adopted a pit-mix, Gaucho (aka Sir-Licks-a-Lot), who has turned into a perfect addition to our family. He came to us as a rambunctious 9-month-old puppy with fear issues that led to aggression. Since then he has transformed into a well-trained, confident pack member who successfully adapted to the introduction of a new baby into our household.
Experience has taught me that daily walking, combined with other physical and mental stimulation, is essential for most dogs to thrive in any household.
My services benefit all dogs by giving them what they need most: exercise, guidance, attention and affection. However, they are especially geared toward helping rescued dogs integrate as pack members into their new homes.
I look forward to improving lives in our dog community here in the Valley of the Sun.

Pets have always been my passion.
The unforgettable dogs and cats I grew up with helped shape me as a person. Above all, my love for animals has taught me compassion.
My human pack has a long history of adopting strays, castoffs and rescues, mostly mutts. The relationships I’ve enjoyed with those pets, bonding with their unique personalities, has helped me understand how to deeply connect with animals.
I landed my first animal service gig at age 10, tending a small farm for a family friend on vacation. Over the years I’ve done pet-sitting for friends in short– and long-term capacities. At age 37, after a decade-plus of editorial work in newspapers, followed by marriage and a few years of staying home to raise children, I decided to make dog service my full-time profession.
