Odyssey Etching & Engraving is a small business located in Mesa, AZ. We use a sandblaster to etch & engrave your items. It is possible to etch the finest crystal to the hardest granite. Each order is as important to us as it is to you. We realize that the items we produce will last many lifetimes.

We are able to fully customize your request to commemorate any important event in your life. Birth Announcements, Anniversaries, Weddings, Birthdays, Corporate Events, Memorials and Fund Raisers.

History

Established in 2011.

My 13 year old Golden Retriever Mix passed away in late 2009. I was looking for a way to honor her memory and discovered pet memorials that were created with a sandblaster. I spent over a year doing research and acquiring to tools necessary to start my own pet memorial business. I etched my first pet memorial in March 2011 and started etching glass that November.

Since I’ve started, I’ve etched river rocks, flagstone, clay and concrete pavers, marble, granite, tile, coffee cups, mirrors, wine glasses, champagne glasses, pint glasses, beer mugs, stainless steel flasks, stainless steel water bottles, knives, wine bottles, decanters, and a lot more.

I grew up on Air Force bases, joined the Marines, got a degree in Computer Science, worked for a couple of software companies and The Arizona Republic. Went back to school and got a A.S. degree in Veterinary Technology. Spent the last 10 years working for an emergency animal clinic. Loving what I do!
