Dr. Kerry Pearson is a 1985 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR. Dr. Pearson established Pearson Eyecare Group in 1987. He has been a member of the American Optometric Association since 1985 and is also a member of the Arizona Optometric Association and the AOA Sports Vision section. Dr. Pearson is a multi-​term member and past co-​chair of the Lenscrafters Optometric Advisory Council. He has 2 college age children: a son attending Arizona State University and a daughter attending Grand Canyon University. Dr. Pearson, his wife, Lisa, and their children list being a foster family as one of their most rewarding experiences.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! DO NOT GO THERE! Before my visit got started I made it clear to all the medical people at the front desk that I only wanted to get services that my insurance covers. I do not want to pay anything out of pocket other than a co pay. The doctor does a eye exam without me knowing they do a contact exam. At the end of the visit they tell me if I do not buy contacts from them then I have to pay for my own exam. They never told me this option before the exam after I told them I do not want any services that requires paying out of pocket. now they are refusing to give me my prescription! My insurance plan pays 100% of both exams. Now they want me to pay out of pocket and they are forcing me to buy their contacts that I never wanted because they are overpriced! The doctor recommended I wear glasses. They are trying to scam people out of their benefits forcing people to buy their overpriced contacts and pay out of pocket. That is a service I never wanted if I have to pay im trying to get the best price for my glasses. The dr. recommended Glasses anyway. They need to make people aware of this charge or choice before doing the exams.

Having worn glasses all but the first 10 years of being 57, I have been to allot of Optometrists. I’ve been coming to Dr. Wyman now for the last 6+ years. I can honestly say that Pearson is the best facility I’ve ever been into. Yes everything is modern, up to date and meticulously maintained for the customers benefit and health.
The Staff is extremely pleasant and professional. I’ve always felt comfortable and relaxed during my exams.
Dr. Wyman is truly a jewel in the crown of the company. She explains everything to my detail demanding satisfaction. She treats me like a friend she cares about, instead of an insurance plan that can be milked.
If you want a Optometrist and Company you can trust. Dr Wyman and The Pearson Eye Care Group is a professionally competent and friendly choice you will never regret.

If you demand a full and quality eye exam, Pearson Eyecare Group is the place to go. Before found Pearson I had tests done by two other doctors that were unable to diagnose my prescription correctly. The Pearson group performed several checks on my eyes that the other doctors never did. Because of this attention to detail, I am able to see very well. I highly recommend The Pearson Group!

WOW! wow! WOW! is all I can say after my visit today, called in and emma the front office was super helpful in finding the place. They got me in right away! Dr Wyman is AMAZING, WARM and just felt like I was visiting a relative, the technology at this office is impressive, kim was so helpful with her opinions and super friendly, Jenine helped me look at lenses and made it super easy no stress. Literally everyone in this office have customer service down, not only that but I wouldn’t mind doing my eye exam and everything over again just to hang out a bit! That is unheard of especially during lunch hour !! I would absolutely recommend this office to everyone of my friends & family.

I have been going here for 4 years now and I love this office!!!
Jacquelyn is the best. I love that she is so welcoming and willing to please her patients. I resently changed jobs and my insurance is out of network with Pearson Eyecare. But she is the reason I continue to be a patient at this office. The staff are also very kind and willing to help with any insurance issues.

Back at Pearson Eyecare Group yesterday, and yet again, wonderful service. Some of the staff have changed, but the level of attention and service that you receive remains the same.
I’d been having a couple of issues with my contact lenses, Dr. Wyman took the time to listen, review and explain the scans etc. then weigh up the options. She always finds the time, no matter how busy they are. I would not go anywhere else.

Have seen Dr. Pearson 3 times in 3 years. I have never had an issue. He seems to truly care about my eye health. As long as he continues to go to the Mesa location I will continue to brave Fiesta Mall to see him.

Horrible. going to a different doctor for sure.
2months ago i went in for a eye exam. took over a month for me to get my trail pair!
second that trail pair didnt work for me so i went in again and they said they’d call me once it arrived. Almost another month later, still havent heard a word! So i call them for an update and they have gave it out to someone else!
If you need contact lenses fast, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!

Love Dr. Pearson! Love his office staff!
Since Pearson Eyecare Group is located inside Lenscrafter at Fiesta Mall it can be a chore getting to and from their office. Used to be easier when Macy’s was opened and I would park outside the upper entrance to Macy’s and just do a zig-​zag through Macy’s checking out all the great buys to peruse after my eye appointment. However, Dr. Pearson is such a great doctor and trumps the parking inconvenience any day.

I went here and had Katherine. Not sure if she is still here, but she wasn’t friendly and tried get me to come in again to test my contacts again before I could order more (I have been wearing that brand for over 20 years and never had that asked). I was on vacation so it was basically a waste of money. I have never had that happen at any other optical place and she wasn’t friendly about it.
I would never go back.

I lost my glasses while here on vacation. They got me in to see the Doctor the next day. In a twist of fate it was good that I had to have a new exam because she discovered I had a pretty bad cataract.
She explained that I would be wasting my money to get new glasses until the cataract is removed.
I was very happy with their service and explanations.

I have to say I really wanted to go to the Chandler location because it was closer but I am so happy I came to the Mesa location. The staff was friendly and I was not there all day. I really live the new machine because it so efficient and digital. Please keep it!!!
