This office has no idea what they are doing. They were not able to get my primary insurance verified because the insurance office was closed so I paid more than $ 100 that day to be seen. They told me they would check for eligibility they following day… A few weeks past and I hadn’t heard from then so I called on my lunch break, was on a ‘brief hold for about 15 minutes and then was told they didn’t have my insurance information… It’s all in the tedious new patient paperwork they had me fill out. I didn’t have the info on me so I said I would call back. Now I call and they say I have to come into the office to give my insurance information. I work in a dental office with insurance and I know how this works. I understand they want a copy of my card. As you can tell I’m a little frustrated. I would have been better off going to an urgent care honestly. I was a new patient and waited about 45 minutes to be seen, and they’re office was incredibly hot. I did see one of the nurse practitioners and she was very nice, but the front office is a nightmare.

I called this office 2 weeks ago to tell them a family member of mine, who has been a patient for many years was in the hospital and it looked quite dire. The woman who answered the phone did not even say «I’m sorry to hear that.» There was no acknowledgement what-​so-​ever. She just said «I guess you want to cancel his appointment then?»
It was horrible to have her be so callous to my father quite possibly passing away at any time.
When she did cancel the appointment I noticed she had the date wrong, yet again.
I’ll definitely find a different doctor. This unprofessional, uncaring person was named Denise.

The front desk girls at the higley and southern location are ALWAYS HUGE FUCKING ASSHOLES I will never go here again and I will make sure to tell every human I come into contact with to never go there either. They all act like it is an inconvenience to help patients, hello that’s your job! Maybe fucking smile and take the stick out of your ass. Dr. Coury is great though love him. If I was him I would fire them all, or at least give them some training in customer service. everyone at the country club location is much nicer!

We never have to wait long to see the PA and the onsite lab is very convenient. The PAs we have met with have been very helpful and have never rushed our appointment. They take time to really listen and have a conversation and come up with a game plan.

It saddens me to write a negative review about a doctor’s office, but unfortunately I continue to have negative experiences at this office. The primary physician that I had for many years closed her practice, and the files of her patients were sent to Dr. Coury’s office. One of the physicians that I saw in my previous physicians office moved to Dr. Coury’s office, also. I was able to see her a couple of times. I have been sick with severe allergies and bronchitis for well over a month and can’t seem to see a physician in this or the Mesa office, because they are TOO busy. I am told I can see a PA, which I have in the past. A PA does not even have to have a degree, and I am somewhat put off by a physician that has several PA’s, for which doctor time is billed, yet there is never a physician available to see you when you are sick. Perhaps no one has realized that you can’t book in advance for an illness that is not chronic. I have seen the PA’s, and they are always in a hurry, therefore errors are made. Today I called, because I am getting worse once again, and was told I can come in next week when the doctor has openings, or see a PA. PA= not getting better, not sending in the prescriptions that were supposed to be sent, or wrong prescriptions. The front office women are nice, as are the MA’s. I even asked if I could go to the Mesa office. It is even more frustrating, because I came to Dr. Coury’s from an office that was always «on top of it’. I have other medical issues, and this is a great indicator as to how I would be treated if I had a bad flare up.

First time at this location. It’s a great deal smaller than the Gilbert location but by the looks of it, a lot busier. I have been taking my children to Coury Family Medicine in Gilbert for over 2 and a half years. It occurred to me as I read the reviews that I don’t think I have ever met the illustrious Dr. Coury. Just the PAs’. (Who have all been great.)
I have been pleased by all the facilities they have. The front desk staff is always polite. The ability to test on site for things. They always check up on my kids, when sick and even mail out a letter, if needed to follow up. I can’t sing high enough praises for the way Dr. Coury runs his practice.

Really friendly staff, after my previous PCP retired I was recommended to Dr. Coury and have not been disappointed. As of now I am happy with this practice and do not intend on leaving anytime in the near future.

Have been to many doctors and this practice ranks at the top. The P.A.s he has are excellent too. I’ve been to this office for almost every type of problem including skin, lungs, kidney, nerves and they have referred me as needed and I’ve had excellent results with each visit. Very on time, I’ve rarely had to wait over 5 or 10 minutes. They also accept Medicare assignment! Everything about Coury and this office are amazing. The staff is efficient and have reacted very well to any call or complaint I have had.

We have gone to Dr. Coury now for 2 years. He is very encouraging about maintaining good health for his patients. He is listens to you and is willing to make changes to try and find the right combination of meds. My husband has the «white coat issue» but has done very well there and really likes Dr. Coury. I like the PA“s and the staff too! Thank you for caring.

I attend the Gilbert Practice (on Guadalupe). Excellent and they make it so easy, with no waiting and in-​house extraction of lab samples.
Today I had an emergency and just showed up. They took care of me within minutes.
I feel lucky to have them so near my home!

Alright, I have been visiting Dr. Coury’s office for years now. I have to say is that I am a medical snob. I’m originally from Boston which is hospital capital of the world. Only the best of the best work in Boston. With that being said I am always skeptical about any other Dr. who have ever treated me outside of Boston, but I will say this, the Physicians Assistants and Dr. Coury himself, I am actually very impressed with. They are knowledagble and very courteous to me the patient. I have never had a single complaint while attending this practice, and if interactions continue the way that they do, I do not thing I will ever have a complaint. I will totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a Primary Care Physician!

Seeing Dr. Coury today at his new Gilbert Clinic was very encouraging. Thank you Doctor for taking care of all my health issues. Ladies and Gentlement may I present Dr. Pete Coury. An excellent choice for a primary care doctor.
