History
Established in 2012.
Smitholator Cookie Shop started in 2012 as a home-based business under the Arizona Cottage Law. We specialized in custom decorated sugar cookies. Business grew by word of mouth and by vending at outdoor markets like Mesa’s MACFest. In early 2015 it was decided to grow the operation into a commercial bakery and retail store. We are thrilled to have acquired a retail space in historical Downtown Mesa.

Business Owner
Heather caught the cookie decorating bug in 2010 after she read an article on Pioneer Woman’s website about a cookie blogger called «Bake at 350». She spent many late nights reading tutorials and practicing. Soon friends and strangers started requesting orders of custom cookies for their parties. In 2014 Heather left her «day job» to pursue the cookie decorating business full-time.
