Very impressed! I was referred to Sterling Services last fall when I found my aging water heater leaking on a holiday weekend. Within a few hours of calling Mike R. was able to install a new water heater. I was amazed at how quickly things were taken care (from initial phone call to completion of installation). Mike explained everything to me thoroughly and in addition to the new water heater I also opted for a service plan that Sterling Services offers. Very happy with the plan so far. Kent O. performed my HVAC tune up last week and I am now headed into the summer months confident in my system. Again, all work was explained thoroughly and professionally. I would highly recommend Sterling Services.

We have used Sterling three times. Twice for air conditioning repairs during the hottest months of the year. Both times they showed up the day we called and made repairs. They were knowledgeable, professional and reasonably priced.
A couple of weeks ago, we had the need for a plumber on a Saturday. I called at noon and Mike showed up at 3. He changed a hose to our newly installed washing machine and only charged the $ 59 service charge. This was after he wrestled the old hose off the valve. Super nice and did a fantastic job.

Met with technician William today at a clients property. I’ve been selling real estate in the valley for over 15 years and it is not common to come across too many service companies with quality employees like William. He did a great job at my client’s home, was efficient and honest. A great experience.

Wow very impressed with this company! I am super skeptical with contractors in this area. Sterling Services fully exceeded all of my expectations. I needed our HVAC system checked because an aggressive home inspector flagged our system. I called Sterling solely based on the Unilocal reviews and they were able to come the next day. Bill Maplesden called prior to arriving just as the scheduler said he would. Bill arrived and did a thorough evaluation and cleaning of my HVAC and confirmed it was in great working order. Bill did not try to sell me anything I did not need. He showed me how he did his tests and explained what the issue the inspector thought was a problem and how it did not relate. His 20 years of HVAC experience was very obvious. Bill is very friendly, considerate, knowledgeable and efficient and I was very glad I called Sterling to check my HVAC system. Oh yea — the price was about half what I was expecting it to be.

My puppy ate my AC wiring outside, so I called Sterling to come and fix it. My Technician Dave was awesome. He was friendly and professional, and he fixed the problem correctly the first time. He actually left the problem in better condition than when it was originally installed. I will definitely use Sterling again when I need them! Thanks Dave, great job!

Dan came to fix my faucet. He arrived on time, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I will definitely use Sterling Services in the future because of the excellent customer service, and I will be recommending their services to my friends and family.

My water heater stopped working. I called several other plumbing companies they all said it needed to be replaced without even looking at it. Dan with sterling was the only one that said he wanted to look at it first to see if he could save it from being replacing to save me money. So I went with Sterling and asked for Dan to help. He Explained everything he was doing so I understood the process and what happened. He Arrived on time. Quote was fair. He did a great job making sure I was happy with everything.

There are thousands of plumbing companies in the Valley. Sterling Services is at the top — in particular, Dan Cifelli. We recently had a loop and a water softener installed. This was a big job, but Dan did a thorough job of laying out the price structure, explaining the installation plan, and executing the plan to perfection. Not to mention, Dan is a great guy to talk to and very personable. I can say with confidence that we will call Sterling Services (and Dan) for all future plumbing and HVAC needs.

Perfect. The tech arrived on time, very informative, very prepared. I expressed concerns I had and he went right to work. AC Maintenace is a service your really don’t know what the results will be. Meaning, if the AC works everything is fine. If it breaks there is something wrong.
Performed what I believe was a very throughout cleaning and maintenance on my unit. Glad to hear everything is good. The tech described to me a few of the key things to look at. Maybe some upgrading in the future, but these guys were really good. Clean, Efficient, Thoughout… what you want in a maintenance program.

These guys rock, called because the compressor was on but no air flow in the house. We take care of our 87 year old Mother-​in-​law and she can’t take the heat. Within a couple hours Bill showed up he listened and fixed the problem in 20 min. He cleaned up after himself and was professional and personable.

It was Saturday morning and we had a water heater leak. A quick call to Sterling Services got us prompt action on our problem. In less than two hours Dan Cifelli was at our home. Dan Cifelli did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem which turned out to be a T&P valve. Dan explained what the problem was and showed us the damaged part of the old T&P valve. Dan also did a water pressure test on our house and again explained the difference in operating water pressure and spike water pressure. I have been a Sterling Services customer for 5 years and have had excellent service and quality work. I highly recommend Sterling Services.

Me, my wife, and my dog had been shivering throughout winter because our gas furnace heater had not been working, so I finally decided to call someone. After a few minutes of Unilocal research, I called Sterling services Monday morning at 9am and to my surprise, a technician came at 12pm that same day. Kent had only been working there for a week, but he was well trained and did an excellent job explaining what was wrong, fixing the issue, and providing his personal opinion on the health furnace and AC (both units were 25 – 30 years old so took his advice about replacing them). Only paid $ 59 diagnostic charge and got a fixed furnace as well as invaluable advice.

David came out to service the AC unit for my client and did a tremendous job as well as was a very cool guy! The Ac servicing was very inexpensive and only $ 59 which I thought was a very good deal for the drive he had to make and the time spent making sure the AC unit was in good working condition! I would recommend Sterling & David’s services!

I was extremely lucky to find this company through a large review site online. Dave and Bill did a complete and professional analysis of my HVAC system. They were on time and, again extremely professional. I ended up signing a 4 year maintenance program with them, not do to a hard sell but do to their knowledge and price.
While the two technicians were there I asked them about reverse osmosis options. Two days later Mike showed up and installed a top of the line reverse osmosis system. The system was expertly installed at ¹⁄₃ the cost I was quoted two years previously by one of the big expensive plumbing/​ac firms in town. While Mike was there I also showed him some other work that I might want done in the future in my master bathroom. He indicated with confidence that Sterling could also do this type of work.
Bottom line. I trusted these skilled, professional technicians in my home and in my condo complex.
This has been an excellent experience from beginning to end. What a find! Don’t hesitate to hire this firm.

I was more than impressed by the customer service and work performed. We discovered an issue with our HVAC system at 7:00 PM and after several telephone calls to various companies, Sterling Services was able to expedite our request. The technician, Dave, arrived within approximately 2 hours, diagnosed the problem, and was out the door in less than 45 minutes. We were only charged for the $ 59 diagnostic fee which was an absolute bargain compared to other companies’ emergency call-​out prices. We will definitely call Sterling Services for any issues or services needed in the future. This company does things the right way – honest, efficient, and friendly.

As usual Joel saves the day!
We just moved into a new rental and as we are moving boxes around hubby feels cold air blowing out of the pvc pipe coming out of the AC unit in the garage. Since we have used Joel before hubby snapped a photo and I sent it to Joel asking if that was normal.
Well OF COURSE it wasn’t, I mean since when are these houses slapped together quickly and correctly. Don’t even get me started with the non existent exhaust above the microwave.
So Joel came out, YES the owner himself! on a SUNDAY!!! Crazy eh? If I wasn’t there, I wouldn’t have believed it either.
Well it is fixed, correctly and we are no longer paying to cool our garage.
Wow! A local business who cares??? OH, I forgot to mention before we moved in, the prop manager said the ac guy came out and looked everything over and the AC was working just fine.
