Sadly in need of an update. Old carpet and mismatched furniture. Fuzzy old tube TVs. The wi-fi is a joke — I couldn’t get a connection until after 11pm. The free breakfast was minimal — not what I’ve had at other Super 8s. The lady at the front desk was not very friendly. The only positive thing I can say is that the room was clean.

Have stayed here several times. Nothing fancy but clean, quiet, and excellent price. I recommend if you’re not looking for high-dollar, five star hotel but want a good basic place to stay

I’m visiting Mesa from Los Angeles. I checked in at this hotel last night. The older front desk woman obviously did not like me and my face full of piercings(I’m really nice, I swear!) I have a temporary bank card while my bank mails me my new one, she wouldn’t accept it. I’ve never run into that before, but it makes sense. But she was NOT nice about it. So I walked in the 100° heat to an ATM and back. Then she wants a $ 20 deposit that wasn’t mentioned when I called earlier to inquire about the price. Fine. She asks if I’ll have guests, I said I wasn’t sure yet. I was charged for two people. Ok. She asked about 20 times if I was sure I didn’t smoke/have a dog/or a car. Where she thinks I was hiding a dog, I’ll never know. The room itself was clean and comfortable enough for the price. No complaints about the room itself. Vending machines, a fridge, and microwaves available. Later that night I went outside to play on my phone and get some fresh air. She chased me outside asking«if I was leaving yet?» Nice. I had a relative come to say hello. Except, she chased him off the property saying«this was a quiet place». He’s a middle aged, boring looking business guy. So I was specifically charged for TWO people, and she ran off my relative anyways. I go down to check out. At this point it’s obvious she thinks I’m a prostitute, so I pack up to leave. Shoot, even a prostitute would deserve better customer service than this. I give my key, and the old office guy asks if there’s anyone still in the room?!? He knows darn well my only visitor was chased off twenty minutes prior. He gives me my deposit, and I leave. I’ve worked in motels before. As a guest I am quiet, sober, clean, and I always tip. But yes, I look goth/punk. I was treated beyond disrespectfully. Technically, I was ripped off too. I can’t recommend this place to anyone. Though I’m sure normal looking folks don’t receive this sort of treatment. I’m still beyond offended.

Room was pretty clean. Towels smelled bad. Could feel every spring in the bed and pillows were a joke. Whole place smelled of stale smoke. Gave it 2 stars since it was in a good area and sheets seemed clean.
