Great experience for my first root canal! The staff was very friendly and professional. Made sure that I was taken care of and took any fear I had away! Highly recommended!

I went to Dr. Hales anticipating a root canal the same day. I was having intense pain associated with cold food/​drinks after my regular dentist had refilled an old cavity. After my exam he suggested I wait to let the tooth heal from the work that recently disturbed it. He said he believes the root is healthy and can be saved. He could’ve done a root canal on the tooth that day and I wouldn’t have known any better. I was so impressed with his expertise and suggestion to wait. I loved the office and staff there as well. I highly recommend Dr. Hales and his office.

I was referred to see Dr Hales to have a root canal retreated as well as another tooth that also needed bleaching. When you walk in to their office, the staff is all friendly and presentable and actually talk to you while you are waiting. It’s a very comfortable environment and with not knowing what to expect I was a little nervous. The assistant who was taking care of me was very mindful of my comfort, talkative, and kept the appointment going instead of letting me sit and wonder what was happening next.
Dr Hales is a very nice doctor and his chair side manner is very professional. He lets you know what he’s doing the entire procedure and even sings to you too. I would definitely recommend SSE to anyone who needs to see an endodontist.

Fantastic experience! I am probably the biggest «chicken» when it comes to going to the dentist. Dr. Matthew Tonioli is an excellent dentist! He generally cares about you, your comfort and your overall experience.
I went in with a tooth pain. I had really bad experiences before but he and his assistant did an amazing job! I am going back to my dentist from now on but if I need a root canal I’ll go back to Dr.Tonioli.

This is the best place to have a foot canal. Nice office with very pleasant staff members. Dr Carlson took very good care of me when I was in pain. Dr Hales also took care of my daughter a few years ago. Very caring and modern office.

Was referred to Dr. Hales from Dr. Nielson (resorption/​infection). High anxiety from previous experiences is the tip of the iceberg, so it takes all I have to even get a routine cleaning, and loud heavy metal (Disturbed/​Five Finger Death Punch…).
Staff fantastic, office clean and friendly, Dr. Hales phenomenal. Root canal done with little discomfort, but what is expected from the lidocaine. Fast and efficient and explains procedure pre and post. No to little discomfort after procedure.
When I need more work done, and I will, Dr. Hales is who I will be scheduling with.

I was referred to Dr. Hales by a friend of mine after finding out I’d need a root canal. I was terrified the day I came in for my procedure but Dr. Hales and his assistant made my experience more than comfortable. I even got a fluffy blanket to lay under! The front desk staff are also helpful and friendly in office and over the phone. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Every time I have been to Dr. Hales, it has been a very pleasant dental experience. I have never had to wait, the staff is courteous and friendly. Dr. Hales explains things very clearly and that makes treatment choices easy.
The first time I went to him about seven years ago, he performed a root canal on a very difficult tooth. I have not had a problem with that tooth since, but he continues to monitor it on every visit.

I have had two root canals by Dr. Hales. Both root canals were done with minimal pain. I even received a call the next day to see how I was doing.

I recently needed a root canal and was referred by my General Dentist to Dr. Hales. The office staff was able to get me an appointment that day and I got the root canal done before there was any more damage to my tooth. The office was clean and the staff was very friendly. You hear horror stories of people that have bad experiences getting a root canal, I would have to say — all things considered it was a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Hales and his staff.

I went to my dentist this morning for extreme pain. He determined that I needed a root canal and referred me to Superstition Springs Endodontics. They were able to get me in this afternoon. They had my insurance set up before I arrived and called me to let me know what my portion would be. I didn’t have to wait long in the waiting area before being called back. Everyone was very friendly and did what they could to make me comfortable. Dr. Hales was very gentle and quick. The pain that I experienced was less than a porcelain filling.

Dr. Hales is always very nice and gentle. The office staff are very nice and patient. Nobody likes to have to get a root canal but if you do have to get one I would highly recommend this office.

I have been practicing dentistry for 23 years and refer exclusively to Dr. Carlson for all my patients root canal needs. His work is truly outstanding and his and his staff’s top priority is the complete comfort of all their patients. On 09/​23/​2015 I had Dr. Carlson, with his wonderful assistant Tara, perform an absolutely pain-​free root canal treatment on a molar. His entire staff is as caring and concerned about your comfort and well-​being as he is. Root canal treatment is best left in the hands of a specialist, and Dr. Carlson and his top-​notch team of genuinely good and caring people are the ones I trust with my patients, my family and myself.

I just had the best and the easiest root canal ever. Both Dr. Barney and Courtney are the best at what they do. If I had known it was going to be this easy, I would have had it done sooner.

I had a dental emergency 2 days after having a wisdom tooth extracted. I went to my oral surgeon, who didn’t think my issue was related to the wisdom tooth, but instead the tooth next to the wisdom tooth.
The problem was exacerbated by the fact that I just found out I have Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma (cancer), and I was scheduled to have surgery on Monday morning. My pain was so severe, and the Percocet given to me after my oral surgery wasn’t working. My oral surgeon wasn’t sure he would be able to find an Endodontist with such short notice and so late in the day to take me. The surgeon contacted Superstition Springs Endodontics, who, thankfully, made time to get me in right away.
I rushed over to superstition Springs Endodontics (being driven by my son because I had taken so many Percocet I couldn’t drive). The front office staff were amazing. They were very nice, and very compassionate.
Kim took me back right away, and was also very kind and compassionate. Dr. Carlson then introduced himself to me, and was also very nice. Dr. Carlson performed a root canal on me, and made a special effort to save my crown to accommodate my pending surgery. He was successful, and completed the procedure in a short amount of pain.
I have nothing but very nice things to say about this wonderful group of people. Not just one or two were good to me, but every single person I came into contact with during my trip to see Dr. Carlson was amazing to me. I will be a customer here for life for any future endodontics I may need. These people are awesome!

I have needed a root canal for almost a year and kept putting it off because I have had bad experiences at other offices … So I finally got a referral to SSE and was seen by Dr. Barney who was amazing !!! He was so nice, went over everything with me in great detail! The procedure was painless, very quick and thorough !!! I will never go anywhere else !! The entire staff in that office is extremely friendly and welcoming !!
