Our tree trimming is a combination of a science and an art and achieving the right combination of proper pruning and trimming is essential for the health and aesthetics of your trees. It is Top Leaf Tree Service’s goal to provide our customers with unmatched quality and customer service.

Top Leaf Tree Service uses ISA Certified Arborists to do site visits so they can accurately assess our customers’ needs and provide free, written estimates. Many times customers will call a few different companies to get competitive bids. We want you to know that we won’t always be the cheapest, but you can be assured our pricing is fair and reasonable — going with the cheapest is not always the best choice.

In addition to routine tree services, we pride ourselves in our extensive experience of being able to perform large, technical jobs, too. We own some of the best tree equipment available and we have crews that work quickly and efficiently.

Top Leaf Tree Service, LLC is a family owned, tree service provider that has been servicing residential and commercial properties in the Phoenix metropolitan area for the past 15 years. Todd Hansen started the business with a truck, a few tools, and a couple of friends. His initial efforts of knocking on doors and reaching out to family, friends and neighbors were just the beginning. Today, Top Leaf Tree Service has grown into one of the leading tree service companies in the Valley. This is largely due to customer referrals, which is a direct reflection on the company’s honesty, strong work ethic, competitive pricing and the Hansen family’s goal over the years of 100% customer satisfaction.

Came out and gave me a professional estimate. After getting more estimates, I decided to hire Top Leaf Tree Service. Service got scheduled and they arrived when they said they would. Trimmed my tree and cleaned up after themselves.

Our orange and palm trees needed to be thinned out and trimmed. Saw that Top Leaf Tree Service had many positive online reviews and decided to try them out.
From first contact with Michelle who kindly scheduled us, to the visit by one of their arborists named Burt (he was a very knowledgeable and friendly guy), to the competent work crew who took care of our trees (and cleaned everything up after they were finished), it has been an outstanding experience!
We look forward to having Top Leaf Tree Service take care of our trees here at our home. Thanks for a great experience you guys!

Let me preface by saying we live in Gold Canyon, 20 miles from the Top Leaf Tree office. I called for a quote to trim and shape two young Queen Palo Verde trees. These are only three year old, and had never been trimmed. One was in full blossom, the other not. I told our neighbor that Top Tree was come to do our trees and he asked if they could remove his 35ft tall Shoestring Acacia l and do some pruning in his backyard. I made the arrangements for both jobs to be done at the same time.
I called and there was message saying they would return my call, My call was returned and I scheduled and appointment to have the arborist come to give me a quote. He arrived on the scheduled time and assessed the trees. He said that there was minimum dollar amount per tree plus a travel charge for coming to Gold Canyon. He assessed my neighbors tree and quoted it.
The crew arrived on time and had the jobs done quickly. The crew are artists and took the time to evaluate their work as they were working. Both my neighbor and I appreciate their attention to detail.
Though I felt the charge for trimming my young trees was high and the travel charge excessive, I wanted the work done by professional abortionists. Top Leaf did what they were contracted to do in a timely and professional manner.

David and his crew came out on time and removed my 35ft tall Mesquite and 25ft tall Texas Ebony. David was very professional and knowledgeable about trees. They removed the trees in less than 3 hours and cleaned the area as well. Not only they offer a great service, they also match the quote i got from different tree services. I would recommend them if you are looking to have your tree removed.

I can’t say enough of this company. First of all, Burt called us right away after that horrible monsoon we had. Our house flooded and we determined that the large ficus tree was adding to our landscaping problem. Burt showed up the same day we called. He gave us an estimate and we waited 2 more days for other tree service companies to call us back and give us an estimate. Second, Top Leaf came in with the best price. We usually don’t make our decisions concerning price but Burt was professional and knew his stuff. He scheduled us right away. Third, the crew actually showed up on time! Really! They too were professional and quickly got their equipment out and made sure my patio was not going to be left a horrendous mess. Throughout their work, they continued cleaning up. They even covered my windows when they started grinding the stump. I’ve told my neighbors about Top Leaf and one of them already had their trees serviced. You can’t go wrong with them. You will be very pleased as I am.

Top Leaf was recommended to me by a co-​worker. I called them and left a message. Burt responded quicker than I expected as I called him on a day when storms had rolled thru the day before and I knew that they were busy. I was off to a good start. I set up a meeting to review my proposed job — 4 large Sisso trees trimmed form the top to the bottom. They were on time and professional and I had the quote the same day as the visit. The price was reasonable and what I was expecting. I signed up. They showed up and did the work. They cleaned up and left the yard as they found it. The trees look great and since I had the work done we have had 2 more hard wind storms and the trees survived in top condition. I would use Top Leaf again in the future for similar work.

Having recently purchased property in Mesa it came with four citrus trees that I knew nothing about. I chose to hire an arborist trained in proper tree maintenance. One tree in particular was visibly stressed. In going with Top Leaf I have had no regrets. The initial assessment was performed by Burt, a very knowledgeable arborist who explained in detail his concerns with my trees as well as offering positive comments about them. The crew came in fully prepared and performed all maintenance in approximately three hours. They cleaned up every clipping and leaf debris leaving the back yard in great shape. I’ve received comments from friends who also have interests in citrus tree maintenance as to the professional job performed by Top Leaf. They are now located at 2747 E University Drive in Mesa. Give them a call for all of your tree needs.

This company has great customer service– came when they said they would, picked up all debris in my yard as well as my neighbors! But most importantly the huge overgrown sisoo tree as well as my queen palms looked amazing! The tree was pruned symmetrically and thinned beautifully. They DO NOT over prune which was important to me. When Burt Griner came to give me the quote, it was very apparent that he knows trees!
