We stayed here for three days and have concluded that we will never stay here again. The only plus they had was a decent swimming pool. Everything from the room smell, carpet condition, lack of consistent WiFi, or even hot water and rude staff were very disappointing. The so called breakfast is typical for lower rated hotels, I suggest you find something to eat elsewhere.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Carpet was beyond filthy. Wifi was so very inconsistent. Room was pathetically dusty. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. It does not deserve the one star recommendation.

I have stayed at the Windmere on E. Mesa Street several times over the course of 10 years. My brother lives in the area and it is a place where I stayed time to time. Had I wrote about place over the years, one would notice the decline in stars. It is sad, but this place has gone down in service and facilities over the years. This is sadly, my last stop at the Windmere. The green pool(yikes!!!), the soggy lawn; the cold, stale«continental breakfast» and weak coffee; the slow and at times awful front desk service; have taken a toll on this hotel and of course on Moi! The pricing is great, but you have to pay more for ambiance and so, I rather pay it elsewhere. Note: maybe services plummet during the hot months, when there are fewer guests? But, regardless, what every happened to the«golden rule,» that the customer comes first?
