I have banned myself from entering this store because it’s a hazard to my savings account!

I purchased a few things today that I was totally excited to get. I absolutely love zgallerie. I could wander around in there for hours. Today I had the pleasure of being helped by Robbie. Very personable and fun. Super nice guy that somehow made a great shopping experience at zgallerie ever more magical! He went out of his way answering this question and getting that item, little things I asked for pleasantly and without missing a beat. Zgallerie just got cooler at Dana Park! Thank you for a wonderful shopping experience. I’ll be back I’m addicted to this place!!!

I purchased a chinchilla blanket for $ 200 and the next day, the hair started shedding everywhere! I had the receipt and went to return it, but the extremely rude employee told me that I couldn’t because I had exchanged it for a different one a week before??? Anyways, I asked for the manager which happened to be her and she finally said that she’d let the corporate office to mail me a check in the mail which took forever even though I paid with my credit card. She was terribly rude, didn’t say by and pretty much threw the confirmation receipt back at me. Also, $ 200 for a «real» chinchilla blanket that falls apart in a day? No thank you.

I have had a few bad experiences with this particular location on different occasions, most of them being customer service experiences. A few months ago, I had seen a bed that I was really interested on , labelled as «Bella Black» for the color that I was interested in. The African American associate that was assisting me told me that Zgallerie has NEVER made any furniture in black, and that I must have been mistaken. I pulled up the exact picture and description up on my phone and showed her, hoping that she would at least tell me that they only sold it online. Instead, she laughed at me and told me that I was on Pinterest, when I obviously wasn’t. I was with my mother, at the time, and my mother saw a few napkin holders on the counter, and she kindly told the same lady«These are cute! Where can I find these?!» The lady got very annoyed and rolled her eyes and told her to immediately put them down, and that the ones she was looking at were a customers and shoo’d her in the direction they were placed… My mother was filing a complaint with a male that has been nothing but kind to her, and the lady overheard and started swinging her arms and pointing in a circular motion telling my mother that EVERYONE loves her and that she’s a great worker, turned to these elderly women and proceeded to say«aren’t you happy with my service?!» And made a huge commotion. I was displeased with this service, but has gotten better since this lady was terminated. Up until this evening, everything has gone well… Besides when traveling a ways away to use a $ 100 store credit from them, I pulled up and the lights were shut off and it was pitch black. They are supposed to be open until 8pm tonight, and I arrived at 7pm. Please let me know why they are closed an hour early?! It’s not a Sunday, and it is definitely not a holiday. I’m so displeased with this location, I’m just about to travel an hour away from home to try and find punctuality and proper customer service at the Scottsdale location. I’d suggest to either look filthy rich for this location and call ahead of time, because the hours can fool you.

Was in the store for over 10 minutes and was never greeted, acknowledged or even looked at. Spent a lot of money at Z in KC but I’ll not spend a dime here.

Apparently, this store must have«cleaned the house», from reading the previous reviews(by the lovely Sam O.), I almost didn’t want to come and buy anything here! While I’ve been several times, I’ve never really bought anything major other than a few home décor. I guess we’re lucky to have Amber, the wonderful and helpful retail clerk. She was by far the best person ever to help us decide on a piece of furniture. We were satisfied with the overall warranty and the return guarantee if we ever changed our mind. I will be updating on how our furniture holds up in the future. I’m pretty ecstatic. Amber, you rock!

It’s true, the customer service isn’t that great… BUT, they really do have nice furniture. I feel like this store is an upgraded Pier1 with a few odds and ends books and toys that you would find in Urban Outfitters. I’ve been in a couple of times and I can’t remember ever being greeted… It would be nice if someone from there would read these reviews and take a hint… HOWEVER, today, though they failed to greet, they did have an excuse. There was a huge powersurge in California the night before, where their central offices are located, so their computers were down. And for some reason, everyone decided to enter the shop and check out all at the same time… We were the last ones attended to, and they were VERY appoligetic and the man that checked us out was super friendly as well. So, I wouldn’t pass this place up just yet… they have too many pretty things to look at and maybe one day they’ll finally figure it out! P. s. The guy also told us that if we happen to order something that is out of stock, expect to wait months to recieve it. We happend to get something that was in stock, but just thought i’d pass the word just in case…

They have some nice stuff. I agree with the other reviews in that you can walk around in here for an hour and have an employee not so much as acknowledge your presence. As such, I’ve never bought anything big here, and likely never will.

I must have looked like a poor, ugly person the other day bc seriously NOONE helped me. no one even said hi. I was in there for an hour too. I decided not to buy anything bc the service was so bad. this is a little bit like OJ’s «i didnt kill my wife, but if I did this is how I would do it» in that if someone had helped me I would have bought 6 place settings– mats, chargers, napkins and napkin rings. I also would have bought several drapery panels. but no way was I going to spend that much money at a place that couldn’t even say hello or ask a girl carrying around a ton of place settings if she needed help. so i just set everything I had gathered up over the hour in a pile and left. you’re welcome employees, hope you had fun putting everything away. i also hope they work on commission and are regretting not saying hi to me.
