Deceptive practices. Be warned… They call themselves urgent care, but try to charge ER rates and insurance co-pays.

The most unprofessional clinic I have ever been to. I am in the military, and we are visiting family in the area. My 1 year old son began running a 103 degree fever. After calling 1st Class Urgent Care Center to see if we could get our son in, we were told they were seeing people by appointment only because the doctor was servicing another clinic all morning. The receptionist told us she would call us back once she could get an appointment for us. Three phone calls and an hour later, I finally get an answer and am told the earliest they could see him is 1pm. We made the appointment, and showed up at 1. While signing in, the receptionist informed us that the doctor wasn’t going to be in all day and asked if we could reschedule for tomorrow. She told us that she had just found out 2 hours earlier. When asked why she didn’t call to tell us, she changed her story and said she just found out the doctor wasn’t going to make it. They had no concern for our son’s care and seemed annoyed that we would question their decision not to call us. There are many options around the Mesquite area. We went here first(and delayed our son’s care for 6 hours) because that’s where our insurance sent us. Take your business, and more importantly, your medical concerns somewhere else.

Waste of time and money. I went here after experiencing abdominal pain. Seeing only 1 patient in the waiting room and 1 in the back, I though I would be able to see a Dr. quickly. I waited for an hour to get a room. A nurse took vitals and I waited another hour to see a Dr. When I did, he did no further tests and just sent me to the ER. I went here to avoid the ER. Everything I had read about them sounded good. It looked like they could any kind of test I needed from what I read online. In less than 15 minutes I was told to leave cause he wasn’t sure. The only thing he claimed to do was call ahead to let them know I needed a CT scan. The Dr name he gave me wasn’t even there when I got there. The hospital was 10 minutes from this office. Did he even call? When you’re in pain or need a serious medical opinion, this is the last place on Earth to go.

Absolutely the most unprofessional clinic I have ever been to. I came here several months back in early November last year, was feeling extremely sick. I always try to veer away from clinics especially whilst overseas because it does cost me an arm and a leg to pay for this service especially when I have a $ 100 excess on my international insurance. Nevertheless, I was in dire need of seeing a doctor. Im writing this review solely on the fact that the staff here are seriously unprofessional. Upon arriving, the young receptionist didn’t greet us. The clinic was empty, it was 9am in the morning. I’m probably the first patient that they would see. The clinic is pretty brand new and in Narnia(a part of Mesquite where no-one would hardly go to) so foot traffic is close to zero. She was the least bit friendly. I wanted to tell her to SMILE. I waited for 30 – 40 minutes to see a Nurse as the doctor wasn’t there … looking around, there was no other patient… The assistant that assessed me was friendly, she weighed and measured me, checked that my vital signs are normal. When I saw the nurse named Soney, didn’t really know what I had. She wrongly diagnosed me.(I know, because when I saw my family who are all in the Medical field, being doctors and nurses advised me otherwise this past Christmas.) On top of my wrong diagnosis, she really appeared like she did not know what she was doing. I kid you not. I asked for a medical certificate with her full diagnosis so I could send it to my insurance company for overseas claims, it took her at least 40 minutes to write this. My medical certificate looked like someone with no medical background wrote it as there were errors. On top of that, when we went out onto the main lobby where the receptionist is, Soney was talking to me so loudly for everyone in the room to basically hear. Not impressed. For $ 99, I got a wrong diagnosis, terrible bedside manner, a rude receptionist, and a joke of a medical certificate.
