Casablanca Resort

We stay at the Casa Blanca RV Park every year. We love it. Go right in the back gate of the pool area and enjoy your morning coffee in the sauna. The folks in the Café are always so nice. Lots of variety including Chinese. Yes when there are soccer tournaments or spring breaks there are lots of families. Swimming for the kids in the day and the Cassio and usually a show in the evening for adults. We have dogs so we come, warm up from the cold winter at home, relax and walk the dogs. It’s a great little spot. Oh yeah, also a good spot to watch the play off games and the Super Bowl.

My husbands company had a company retreat for the weekend here. For the price which was free I can’t complain however if I had paid maybe things would have been different. The only thing actually I can think of looking back now would be that the casino was super donkey so I probably would have chosen elsewhere to stay if I had my son with me. Since it was just us two it didn’t bother me too much because our room was non smoking. The casino is fairly older and the room was surprisingly not completely outdated however the mattresses could use replacing. The company also used one of their banquet rooms for the party with an open bar and buffet style dinner. The food was actually very good I was impressed. As for the actual resort I would say don’t expect too much and you’ll do just fine.

I wish I had booked another hotel for my stay. My no smoking room had a door that did not seal and all the smoke from the hall came straight into the room, since there are no doors blocking the main casino to the halls leading to the rooms. At 3a people were partying in the halls, yelling in foul language. After calling security they again started at 3:35am. They were right next and may as well have been in our room. TERRIBLE, GOD AWFUL EXPERIENCE! Save yourself. Go pay more if you want a better experience and a decent night’s sleep. Also, if you want non-​smoking, these rooms aren’t going to cut it. They smell awful.

This hotel was old, but surprisingly clean. My husband and I are in our 30s and we had a really great time! They have $ 3 black jack tables and some fun slot machines. The spa was relaxing. Definitely worth the money when you get their package deal. The customer service was phenomenal! (It’s most certainly not a «strip» hotel but for what they offer with the golf and spa it was really a great time at the hotel.)
The Casa Blanca golf course was another story… The staff was rude and overbooked the tee times. When I spoke with a manager he was condescending and highly offensive. We had a bad experience golfing here. Otherwise I would have given the whole resort 5 stars.

Nice rooms and overall nice resort but i wouldnt stay longer than a night. Dying of boredom is easy to do at this uninspired ‘resort’. The only pieces of entertainment are catching a band that plays the 50s or 60s or lounging out at the Jacuzzi. Youre better off staying at the Eureka or the Virgin Isle. Those two are closer to more of the action in Mesquite and walking distance from each other.
This resort had a buffett but was only open on weekends. They also had a spa but it was all the way in the back of the property past the pool where no one would ever think to go. They charge $ 15 to use the facilities unless you buy one of their services. The gym, also located in the back of the property with nk signage, had only 3 pieces of equipment– two treadmills and one stairmaster– none of which were of this decade. To top it off you needed a passcode to access the gym which i only found out AFTER finally locating the gazebo like space and looking at the door handle with a keypad. Shameful that they offer a gym but it lacks any equipment and the water cooler was empty!!!
I will admit the wifi was great all throughout the property. The only food option throughout the week was the Casa Café and even a few days later my stomach is still hurting.
I wouldn’t go back to Mesquite again and this resort did not help its case.

I’m so glad we decided to come to Mesquite and stayed at the Casablanca resort! A friend of mine told me Michael Dunn, owner of Southpoint casino had bought the Casablanca out and renovated the whole resort! Don’t really know if that’s true, but our stay here was lovely!
I booked a room for one night for $ 66, and it’s super worth it! The rooms are clean, with a new flatscreen tv. We got the poolside non smoking view, and they also had a package deal for the spa. After checking in, we ended up driving to the Virgin river hotel, which is a sister company with Casablanca, to play bingo! They had bingo every off hour until 11pm. It was so fun! Casinos were poppin’ like it was definitely the place to be. After bingo, we drove back to our hotel, and enjoyed a few drinks at the bar and watched a live band play until midnight. Then had a sweet tooth and stopped by the 24 hour illy coffee place next to elevators to go back in our room! It was so nice, I love illy!
The only thing I didn’t like was upon checking in, they don’t tell you this… but they take a $ 50 deposit along with the room fee on your card, in case of any damage. It does get put back on your card after a day or two. I didn’t like that, so just a little tip, in case you’re looking to book a room!

This was probably the worst part of our getaway to Mesquite from Las Vegas. Soooo many children in the hotel — everywhere, from dinner to casino, pool, breakfast — even just sitting in the hall outside the hotel rooms… Wanted an adult getaway and this was not it.
Hotel room felt like a Quality Inn or other motel type. Two queen beds, super uncomfortable and sagged in the middle. AC unit under the window, lit up with neon sign from hotel on side of building.
Please note — we LOVED the valet services — tipped every time and the valet staff was a gem! Housekeeping did a great job of cleaning the room also. Pool was full of kids, even some who were obviously not potty trained and NOT in diapers. Drinks at the pool were cheap and well made. Lots of cigarette smoking EVERYWHERE. Way more than anywhere in Vegas. Would probably not stay at the hotel again.

We had a one night stay here on our way back to California. I called the hotel directly to get a room for the night with a king sized bed, turns out that doesn’t exist at this hotel unless you get a suite. Fine, I’m in, let’s get a suite. Not so fast, you can’t book one over the phone you have to do so in person. I’ve never heard of such a policy but onward we go.
The hotel is very nice on the outside. They have a beautiful pool with a great water slide and it appeared to be pretty modern. There is a small casino with a handful of gaming tables and lots of slots.
We go to the front desk to get our suite and the nice guy asks what floor we’d like, we say, the higher the better and pick us a good one. He says, well I’m going to pick one on the lower floor then since they were more recently renovated. Sweet!
Off we head to our suite excited to see our fancy renovated room.
We opened the door and I was instantly transported back to the 70’s. Surely this can’t be the «recently» renovated suite. It quite literally looks like you’ve traveled back in time. The décor is very outdated, the couch was really old and the wall paper was rippled and coming up from the walls in places. It was however clean and had a king bed so after discussing whether to go get our money back, we decided to stay and party like it’s 1975.
The bed appeared lumpy but it was actually quite soft and comfortable. It had 2 bathrooms, one with a jacuzzi tub. It also had 2 air conditioning units it the suite. The air conditioner worked super good, the room was icy which I like a lot, but the units are sooo loud that if you need a quiet room to sleep this wouldn’t be the place.
Their café has a very nice prime rib dinner for a reasonable price. The staff in the restaurant are not very friendly but the overall experience there was fine.
In the casino they had a band playing that night (Thursday) that was really good. We also had fun at the gaming tables and overall it was a good experience.
I would go back for a pop in to have a cocktail or gamble but would not go back to stay here as the rooms need major work and I prefer to stay at a hotel with nicer more updated rooms.

For the price, this is an amazing hotel! Our first time in Mesquite we decided to go with this hotel because of recommendations from friends & the pool! The rooms all come with 2 beds according to the front desk. A little outdated, but really cozy and clean. The bathroom was very clean as well. Cute little coffee/​ice cream shop, and gift shop. Staff seems really friendly. Don’t think we really had anything to complain about. Will be coming back next time we’re here.

Wonderful casino, the pool is awesome, very relaxing. The timeshare condo we stayed at was great! Not bad for Mesquite.

Mesquite’s a small town between St. George, Utah and Las Vegas. This hotel/​resort has indications that it’s been renovated in places over time, but the price was right for our overnight getaway. Online promos had us paying about $ 50 for the night, but I got $ 30 in slot play in return ($ 25 for the promo and $ 5 for signing up as a new card member). So, I look at it as paying about $ 25 for the hotel stay had I played my own money.
Our rooms were what I expected – nothing fancy, but it was clean and had two queen beds. The CRT TV’s a bit outdated, but the wifi connection’s great. The pool has a small waterslide and a large waterfall feature – the highlight of my six year-old’s stay here. Valet is complimentary; they have a fitness center, and the small café’s decent, especially if you take advantage of their daily specials (ranging from $ 5.99 to $ 8). The Chinese food’s a little pricey for what we got, but there’s little in the way of restaurants to pick from in Mesquite. My only gripe is that their buffet is closed during the weekdays. Also, too, our room sported a cooler type fridge, where it isn’t really a fridge, but if you put your full ice bucket in it, the cooler will maintain the temperature that the ice bucket maintains. Don’t expect a cold beer to be cold in there, but it’ll keep your perishables from spoiling too quickly.
The casino isn’t really that big, but I was able to play their promo money and build it to a nice winning at the end of my gambling stint. Mind you, I didn’t bet big, but I hit a number of machines, and there were a couple of «loose» ones. Of course, no casino is in the business of losing, but the atmosphere seemed festive at a few of the tables last evening. I saw a few machines paying out to some winning customers, and that made me feel good.
They have a 24-​hour coffee/​ice cream shop, too, and it’s nice to get that sugar and caffeine fix at any time.
My only tip is to request a room in the towers with a lower number (i.e. – 00−20’s). We were in room 56 and it seemed like we walked a mile to and from the elevators. The pool view side is better than the parking lot view as well. The AC wasn’t consistent in the halls of our hotel tower floor, but the AC in our room worked very well.
Staff was accommodating and friendly when we asked for extra towels and toiletries.
There are fast food joints and a Walmart in and around the area, too. The casino also sports a nice steak house, but I can’t tell you if it’s any good, because we didn’t eat there. It looked nice every time we passed it.
I’d stay again for the price. The pool was worth the fun my family and I enjoyed for sure. It has a tiny arcade, too, but it’s nothing to write home about.

Traveling from Las Vegas and got hungry so stopped here to get some food .Food was great we went to there café and everyone had a smile on and greeted us right away .It didn’t take to long for us to get our food and our server checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Also very clean casino will definitely be back maybe even to stay next time, thanks!

Came here with two friends for a Girl’s weekend away. The rates are reasonable. We checked into our room at it seemed big enough. It was a mix of older furnishings with newer furnishings. We had a room with 2 queen beds and had newer mattresses. Our room had a flat screen TV but the remote control did not work. Upon closer inspection we discovered that the remote control did not have batteries. We called the front desk and maintenance brought us a new controller. I slept great and the A/​C worked great. The next morning the smoke detector started chirping and we called the front desk and maintenance came and replaced the battery. Overall our stay was good and I would stay here again.

Horrible experience after a long drive stayed at the Casa Blanca horrible service at the café then we went to sit in hot tub it’s so small bathrooms at pool area closed then returned to our room fell asleep son woke up screaming at 2:30 am with worms on his bed wall floor and curtain they moved us rooms at 3 am upon checking out they refused to give me my refund and did not show any concern of the worms the room was infested with! Had to wait until management came in at 9ish to request a full refund will not ever stay here again! rude staff they need to realize that they need to clean entire resort!

My family stayed here for 4 nights this last week, and we had such a lovely stay! The pool was definitely the highlight of our trip. Super fun waterslide, delicious margaritas, and lots of lifeguards made this a perfect place for myself and my two young children. Didn’t win in the casino, but had very nice dealers who helped me learn Texas Hold Em, which was great fun. We ate at the café for every meal and were never disappointed with the quality and taste… Their Chinese menu is to die for! There was nothing fancy about the room, but it was very clean and comfortable. Friendly, courteous staff and fair prices. We’ll be back for sure! Thanks Casa Blanca!

Great place for a quick getaway!
— Hotel: staff was friendly, room (midweek @$ 80, + small resort fee included $ 25 free play) was basic, clean and comfortable. Free parking is convenient and plentiful (although there is no covered parking). Pool is gorgeous!
— Casino: good assortment of machines, although we did not win much (but we usually don’t at any casino). Decent beverage service.
— Food: the café is very good and has great prices, service was just OK. The smoked ribs were meaty, and absolutely delicious — a ½ rack was plenty! The breakfast with eggs, protein, hash browns and 2 pancakes was super — and enough for 2!
Next time we’ll stay 2 nights!

Played blackjack, napped by the pool under a palm tree while my friend golfed. Casablanca is like a desert oasis a little over an hour away from the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas. The guest rooms were clean and comfortable with a tropical theme. Nothing fancy but large enough for 2 adults to not feel cramped. The pool is huge and has a soothing waterfall. It has lifeguards on duty which is nice since it’s a family friendly place. The gaming area is big and features all the regular table games and a large variety of slot machines. Casablanca is the perfect overnight getaway!

Great Parking for our giant moving truck made this place an easy stop. The location is beautiful with water features in the entrance and a huge pool you can buy a pass and actually use without being a hotel guest which was nice.
We went to the diner for breakfast. I got the stuffed biscuits with bacon, eggs and gravy. It was AMAZING and CHEAP!!!
I definitely recommend this place if you are driving by and need a quick road break at a relaxing spot with good food.

I had come here with my boyfriend for a mini getaway before finals. His parents had originally planned a weekend away, but became ill. They didnt want the room to go to waste, so they offered it to us and we gladly accepted!
It took us about 40 minutes to get to the resort. There is plenty of parking and it is close to the entrance of the casino so there is no need for valet. Upon entering, I felt like I was in an old 90’s movie haha Everything is a little older and smaller. This is only because I am used to the Vegas casinos being grandiose.
Checkin was easy — upon entering, you look to your right and there it is. The staff was very friendly. Even though most of the reviews say that the staff was very rude and racist, I didn’t get that vibe at all. They were extremely nice, especially the last giving us our free slot play! We had also gotten $ 25 of free slot play HAHA I felt like I was 50 but whatever! When signing up to get it, we also got another $ 5 for signing up, then another $ 2 from this daily spin wheel thing. The free slot play is limited to the slots, obviously duh, but it was very limited. Not alot to choose from. After an hour or so, we went up to our room.
The first thing we did was inspect our room for bed bugs, I had read too many reports on people getting bed bug bites and rooms being infested with them. It took s a good 30 – 40 minutes, but we found nothing. Nada. Zilch. The mattresses looked fairly new and very clean. When we checked the mattresses, there werent even nasty stains from who knows what else. The bed was über comfortable and we slept like a baby.
All in all, if you wanna a mini vacay to get away from the lights and everything that’s vegas, come here. Its good for a little staycation!

My friends, husband and I stopped in here for a quick break on our roadtrip. We didn’t stay the night, but look forward to doing so soon! We did eat the buffet, and for the price– it can’t be beat! Delicious! Nothing fancy, but good food and a great price!
The staff here was SO super friendly! They had a few 5 $ blackjack tables, if you’re in to low-​limit tables like me. The jungle atmosphere is beautiful as well! Order a «Grasshopper» here, they really do this classic ice cream cocktail justice!
This place is full of blue hairs– be warned.
