The first time I stopped in, the food was excellent. They fried up some of the best fried okra I’d had in a long time, and the chicken tenders were perfect. My only complaints were the service and the roll: the employees seem like they’d rather be anywhere else and the roll still mostly unbaked dough.
The last two times I’ve stopped in, the food was nowhere near as good, and the once stellar okra wasn’t fully cooked – soft outside and tough inside.
I probably will not return to this location.

My first time to try chicken express and it will be my place. It was filthy, the trash was falling out of the can it was so full. The girl that took our order was incredibly rude and actually leaned over and rested her hands in her head while we were ordering. I’ve never had such bad costumer service. The wait time was about 20 minutes too long. It was ridiculous. I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star.

I continue to crave the chicken tenders and gravy. Service here on my latest visit was courteous and helpful. They handled our confusion over what to order with gentleness and patience. Someday I’ll try the bone in chicken, but for now its tenders all the way.

do not! i repeat do not!!! go to the chicken express by towneast mall. 1410 town east blvd. mesquite tx. 75 150 they gave my brothers wife an order of fries that had a fried roach attached to it. and the restroom is worse than a out house!!! i have the picture to prove it!!!
