This store, like almost all pet stores, sells dogs from puppy mills. Only millers sell to outlets like these, because responsible breeders would never release their animals unless they can verify the background of those ultimately purchasing them.
The puppies (and other animals) are in cages with nowhere else to use the bathroom, so their natural inclination to not soil their own «den» is overridden. Such dogs are often almost impossible to housebreak later.
The owner is rude to anyone who asks about the conditions in which the parents of these animals live, and will not say where they come from. That pretty much tells you what you need to know.
If you want a pet this holiday season, (or any other time), go to your local shelter or search online for breed rescue of your choice. You can save a life, instead of keeping puppy mills in business.
