They pizza is not that great. They used canned/jar mushrooms instead of fresh. Won’t be ordering from here again.

One of my favorites for years now! Always consistent. Family owned and ran. Great pizza and prices!

I was visiting my brother, and he mentioned,“lets go visit mom!” So we got in the car, from arlington to head to moms house and on the way there I asked Siri about pizza in the area. Siri gave me Rockyano’s phone number, and I gave them a call and they were pretty friendly, and I mentioned that I didn’t want to go empty handed to see mom and he was more than happy to make whatever kind of pizza we wanted.(My mom says we don’t visit her often, so that is why my brother and I went over, and she loves hawaiian pizza and we decided to kill two birds with one stone.

This one is difficult to review. I guess I’ll just start by saying that I loved the crust, it was crisp on the outside and tender and chewy on the inside. I also loved the sauce. But to me the pepperoni seemed to be of an inferior quality. Greasy but not the«normal» pepperoni grease. I’m not sure how to explain it. Also the pie is pretty small. We got a large, three toppings pizza delivered and it was over $ 18. But a large is probably a more of a medium at other restaurants. Wow. Being a new customer I didn’t have a coupon and didn’t think to ask if they had any specials. If I order again I probably will only get vegetables on the next one and see if I change my opinion.

If you are looking for the best pizza in the metroplex you will be disappointed if you make a visit here. If, however, you are just looking for some pretty good pizza and some nice people serving it then this is the place. It is strictly carryout(they do have one table but it only has one chair-just to take a load off while waiting for your pizza) and so they have not spent alot of consideration on the ambiance. The place was, however, clean and the floor had very obviously been recently mopped. I actually wanted to try the meatball sub meal(a 3.99 lunch special-score!). My order was taken and then came the terrible news– after checking in the back the young man realized he was out of bread. He was very apologetic and to make things right offered to make me a med meatball pizza. I am nothing if not flexible– so I readily agreed. He was very quick in making the pizza and again very apologetic. The pizza itself was tasty-not earth moving delicious but perhaps put a smile on your face good. The meatballs had a good flavor and he used a very generous portion of cheese. The crust was your typical thin crust. All in all I was pleased-particularly with the young mans excellent customer service and I will give them another try in the near future. I just hope they have bread next time.
