Can I get some Taco Bueno in Houston!?? Ok not Houston but the Clear Lake — Friendswood area??? If you have not eaten at Taco Bueno you are missing out! It’s like Taco Cabana mixed with Taco Bell with a slap of Chipotle — BUTBETTER!!! I will miss you Mucho!!!

This location of Taco Bueno has always been a good one. When we lived in the Mesquite Area this was our default Bueno Fix store. The food was always fresh and at the proper temperature. The employees made sure to get our orders made correctly and used manners such as thanking us for eating there and invited us back in the future.

Taco Bueno is my favorite place to grab a late night snack and to cool off after the Mesquite Rodeo lets out. I’d order my favorite combo meal: Beef Nacho Salad, Beef Taco, & Diet Coke(from the self serve drink fountain), which is very tasty and sooo good(not for my health), especially after watching the fun-filled Rodeo. Last time, I must’ve consumed four refills of iced cold Diet Coke to cool off because it was 90 degrees in summer heat, but at least I was not wearing black all the way down to my feet. It was 10:30 at night and very steamy outside! It’s not like that in NH where it may only get warm and brisk at night. I wish Taco Bueno would build stores in the Northeast where I live, but it seems like this chain will be near and in Texas for a while. Taco Bueno is referenced quite a bit on one of my favorite cartoon shows, King of the Hill. Bobby Hill is my favorite character!
