I had crawfish, corn, potatoes and mushrooms from here. All of them were very bland. I’m not sure if it was just that particular batch but I was very disappointed and can’t say I’ll be coming here again

The best and the«freshest«seafood in town. The staff is informed and there are many options for seafood. The crabs and shrimp are oooh so good! The shrimp pâté is grrrreat! My friends and I have tasted just about everything. The prices are reasonable and affordable. I’m a fan. «MO»

So far I’ve been there twice. I just moved in the area. First for crawfish which was delicious. Second for crabs. The crabs were to die for. I called & they said they’d be out of the pot at 2:15pm but I couldn’t get there till 3 so they held them for me. Super sweet staff. This will definitely be my weekly stop for boiled seafood.

I try this place out on a very irregular basis in hopes that maybe in the past I had caught them on a bad day. Maybe once every two years. Consistent experience each time. Overcooked boiled seafood that has usually sat for hours. Shrimp and crabs were pasty globs of disintegrating, poorly seasoned meat. Prices were extremely high compared to other local spots… but hey they are close to some high priced real estate. Last visit for me.

The lump crabmeat is steep at 28 bucks a pound, but this might be the going rate. The service is super friendly. I made crabcakes with this lump meat and got the best reviews ever… so overall worth the price because the crabcakes were better than at a restaurant and I let the crab be the star of the show. Also, the crawfish and shrimp were better than at the local grocery store around the corner and basically the same price.

Love this place. Been here over a handful of times & love the flavor & consistency of the crawfish & sides. Their boiled shrimp are also delicious. Excited for another crawfish season!

Love this place. The seafood was excellent and the people were nice. Even the people waiting in line were raving about the place. Will shop here often.

I spent over a few hundred dollars on seafood overall in their store. Many of my purchases were lbs and lbs of freshly boiled crawfish. I did get oysters from them, not worth. I bought boiled shrimps from them, undersized. In conclusion, just buy the crawfish only because at $ 3.75 per lb(cash price) it’s the cheapest and best taste spot around. By the way, the boiled crawfish is10 times better than deanie’s down the road.

I bought boiled shrimp that I was shown to be large from a distance. When I got home 90% of them were small almost bait size. There were a few of the large ones. At $ 9.25lb I felt extremely mislead and ripped off. I called them and asked for a refund and said I would bring them back the next day. They stated that they wouldn’t take them back unless I returned them that day, which I couldn’t. That’s is HORRIBLE customer service. They didn’t have a logical explanation on why I couldn’t wait until the next day. There were no apologies or sound of remorse. It was if I was upsetting them. Not returning.

Everything good said below and more! Expect fast, pleasant service, top quality seafood, excellent boiling, and if you are buying live for a big boil buy their spice packs. You can’t do any better. Current boiled price just over $ 3 vs. $ 5.00 at the Big Fisherman.

A small seafood market in the Bucktown neighborhood, easy to miss, the only sign seems to be painted on the glass window. I was impressed on how clean the place was during a busy day, spotless. Better yet, the smell was of fish, but not fish past their prime, that stinky fish smell. Everything seems well run here and the people helpful at the counter.

This is usually the place we get crawfish at(to bring home) when we’re in New Orleans… The price is decent and the crawfish is delicious… Be sure to call ahead if you have a big order or if it’s during a busy weekend!
