History

Established in 2005.

Sal and Chris’ grandparents opened a corner grocery store in 1956, which has since passed down to the second and third generation. As young children they watched and learned from their grandparents, stocking shelves and waiting on customers. They learned valuable lessons about quality food, great customer service, and the hard work and dedication required to operate a successful business — lessons that they continue to draw on in the operation of their own restaurant.

Business Owner

Brothers Sal and Chris Organo are the proprietors of one of Metairie’s hidden treasures. Sal and Chris were raised Uptown and are alumni of De La Salle High School. Growing up in a large Italian family, they looked forward to big family dinners every Sunday with an abundance of delicious food prepared by their mother and grandmother. Some of those great recipes are on the menu of Chad’s Bistro today.
