Beware! If you call for a quote… he will end up doing the job whether you like it or not! My husband contacted Washington with Hauling Guys & Demolitions, LLC from the yellow pages for a quote on picking up demo trash at our rental property; he stated that one truck would be $ 150 and he had to see the trash. My husband couldn’t meet him at the property due to work, however our painter and carpenters were there working so the doors/gate was open. When Washington arrived he called my husband to let him know it would be $ 300, my husband told him that he will get quotes from other people companies. Washington said«fine do that». He then called my husband back to tell him that he’ll do it now. Washington then proceeded to enter our property and taking the trash. He also was harassing our workers taking video and pictures stating he was going to shut the renovation down and put a lien on our properties, that we didn’t have our permits and so on. We have our permits and certificate hanging in the window by the way. My husband had to call the police to come to interfere with what was happening; however nothing could be done without the owner«my husband» being present; he couldn’t leave to make it there. Washington was calling my husband saying that he wasn’t going to leave our property until he gets paid; after many phone calls of threats and insults back and forth my husband just wanted him gone and didn’t want the trash dumped on the street for our workers to have to pick up. My husband asked Washington if he takes a check or credit card payment; Washington said he takes neither, only cash. My husband and Washington agreed that if cash was brought to him we’d get a receipt of payment for our records. Once I got off of work, I was told the whole story and had to bring the $ 300 cash payment to this lowlife. Upon my arrival Washington approached me from his truck and I let him know that I have his payment and I understand he has a receipt for me. Washington tells me he doesn’t have a receipt or invoice to give me. I told him then I will make one of my own on scratch paper. I went around the corner to our other property to write it up. Once I came out to settle the payment and receipt he proceeded to tell me he’s not signing anything because he wasn’t paid yet. I told him I will pay him I just need a receipt; he proceeded to tell me that’s not how business works; he explained once work and payments done then there’s and invoice. So I asked«where’s your invoice then?» I told him no real business does business without receipts or an invoice, in other words how pathetic this situation is along with other vulgar words due to me being furious with this blatant scammer. Washington’s worker then offered to sign the receipt for me, Washington told him«no you don’t own the business, and how are you going to sign that». Washington and I were already screaming at each other due to him not listening to what I was saying therefore we were yelling over each other, I then asked him«if I pay you will you sign the receipt?» Washington said«I can’t sign until I’m paid» I handed him the cash; he then tells his crew«Lets roll» and walked off to his truck. I cursed him and told him,” yes go”. Our workers were my witnesses of everything that happened and I was discussing the audacity of this childish manner this so called man treats people; Washington then proceeded to walk around the corner to our other property to take pictures and video as well as videoed me as he walked passed me to his truck. Insane completely insane, his pathetic scare tactics won’t work on me; I have dealt with animals like him before. After my blood stopped boiling, I was curious about this company and I looked it up online; since my husband didn’t…low and behold his website states that they accept credit cards!!! If that’s so why did Washington tell my husband they did not? It’s just mind boggling that this joke of a business is still functioning?!
