Cute in and out coffee shop in Clearview Mall. Therefore, you won’t be offered a great view through the window or at the outdoor seating — it’s the parking lot. The bathroom is gross. I know it’s a bathroom so it’s not supposed to smell great, but it does smell heavily of urine. The comfiest seats are by the bathroom, which doesn’t make it the best seats anymore. So as I said at the beginning, it’s great for in and out coffee, but not a place I want to spend time at. They do offer free wifi, if you choose to bring your laptop to work there.

This is the PJ’s in the Clearview Mall. It is just inside the main entrance facing Veteran’s. It is pretty tiny, and almost always busy. There are a few small tables packed in there, but they give you room to sit down. There are great views of the parking lot if you like people watching. Usually you will see at least one person hunched over their lap top. I think this is standard and obligatory. It came as a surprise to learn that despite being busy and small, this location has some of the best service at PJ’s in the area. The coffee is always fresh and the people are friendly. I have never been treated rudely and I always get a smile. Due to the high volume, this location can get a bit messy. There are usually crumbs on the floor and often the tables are left with napkins or stirrers on them. But again, with the volume of people, they may not have time to clean the lobby.

Love this PJ’s. I feel like they know my order before I even get in the door. Super fast also.

Tiny PJs but a HUGE pastry case… which sadly was mostly empty when I stopped by. I was hoping for a single slice of king cake. It wasn’t to be. I know it was late on a Sunday but the shop was kind of trashed. Maybe everybody else was jonesing for king cake too and so they threw all their trash on the ground? And, not that this has anything to do with this coffee shop, but what right minded parents buys their under 12 child a sugary coffee drink at night? That just seems a road to madness to me.

I always feel weird reviewing different locations of the same chain, because I almost feel as if they are all the same. This is good PJ’s to check out if you find yourself in «da Metrys» and you want some good local coffee.

I had to drop off my car this morning to get fixed. The mechanic said it would be done by lunch. But that left me stuck with nothing to do for hours. So I dodged traffic across Clearview to the mall. Now I HATE Malls. Even as a teenie-bopper, I hated Malls. Even having sex in a Mall utility closet wasn’t enough to make me like Malls(Hi Sissy!). Anyway…It’s 8 in the morning and I needed some Wifi and a place to sit. So here I am at PJs. I don’t like PJs coffee unless I need to burn through human bones with the acids… but it’s inside, it has Wifi and a table. It’s also got an incredibly loud table full of mostly deaf Über-religious old ladies screaming about Jesus and women in the bible. No way to get away from them, but that’s not PJ’s fault. Just thought I’d warn you in case you were thinking of stopping in this morning. [edit] turns out the wifi wasn’t even PJs… for some reason I could not connect to their wifi so ended up with the ATT1 hour limited wifi.

I’m a fan of PJ’s coffee in general which makes it pretty easy to 4 star their locations. Something would have to be *really wrong* not to and the few times that there were problems at a location it dealt with«problem» problems and not«service» problems. I’d like to echo Ed’s comments about this PJ’s coffee. I can see how this place can fill up with it’s proximity to Zea’s in addition to well, being in a mall. It’s good they have it set up that people can walk in the front door and out the side if needed. They make good use with the setup keeping the tables out of the way from the high traffic areas of the counter and cream/sugar table. One tiny thing to note: The outlet at the table we sat at is right under a wall lamp. Like an idiot I was standing when I went to unplug something and *almost* knocked myself out when I stood up(I stopped and stepped back to clear the lamp). The lesson here kids is to always be aware of your surroundings. Overall, it’s nice to have a PJ’s in Clearview to get a coffee fix when needed.

This PJ’s is in Clearview Mall. It’s got both an outside and a mall entrance. Very busy, high traffic, as one would exect on busy shopping days. Scones and cinnamon rolls are high-turnover, so they’re most always fresh. Like most high-volume coffee shops, the regular baristas are fast and efficient. This location is small comared to most, only 8 or so 2-top tables. Wi-fi solid, but minimal power outlets. I usually go here early(7:30am-8am), so I can get a table, but it can get crowded during the day.
