Old Navy at the Loop

The only reason I come back here is that their sales and clearance combine to make some really good buys. Otherwise, the store is consistently trashed, unkempt, and an utter mess; many of the staffers are surly and completely uninterested. No, you’re not changing the world by working at Old Navy, but a little integrity goes a very long way.

I really like Old Navy’s clothing and prices but… this store is a train wreck. Went there on a Wednesday night. Nothing on the shelves is organized and there were piles of clothing everywhere. The line was 15 – 20 people deep and slow moving. Employees seemed miserable and not very motivated. I definitely don’t plan on going back.

I actually don’t mind how trashed the Old Navy at Methuen Loop is. I am able to find amazing bargains because of how unorganized it is. Can’t find $ 0.47 leggings for my 3-​year old anywhere else! But that’s only if I have time to wait in the awful long line to price check all the items I’m interested in because there are ZERO price checker machines in the store. You have to take your entire haul up to the cashier to scan and verify the prices. I would think the store would want those machines to avoid a huge mess of rejected clothes at the register checkout area. But they don’t care about appearances here. I saw a completely empty spin display at the checkout area, and a week later it was still there… empty of course.
What’s really frustrating about this place is that there was only 1 cashier working when I was there on 1÷1÷16. The line was growing, yet there were at least 3 other employees nearby folding clothing. Hello! Drop what you’re doing and attend to the line please. Poor management. I will still shop here because of the deals I find, but it’s a love-​hate relationship.

This store is disgusting. Piles of clothes everywhere. Too much inventory not enough staff. Walk in and immediately out

I just went to the Methuen store and as soon as I walked through the doors remembered why I never go there. The place was a complete disaster and that is putting it nicely. It is eight and disorganized chaotic mess and being only 11:30 in the morning should not be half as bad as it was I will not be going there again anytime soon.

This store looks like a disaster zone… and from the other reviews I have read on here, it seems to be the case quite often. The cashiers and floor-​employees are rude, slow and have a lazy, «I can’t be bothered» attitude. Wish there was one closer to me (unfortunately Nashua is my only other option)…please open one in Salem, NH! I’ll continue my shopping online — seeing as though they don’t do exchanges in stores (or so the rude cashier put it), there’s no point to going in this unprofessional/​untidy establishment.

I didn’t want to give this store any stars, but had no choice to give it one. I recently went in this store to buy my child a few outfits for the school year.
The place looked like a tornado went throught it. Ridiculous, I would be ashamed to be a worker there. When you work in retail, you need to stay on top of things. But not this store. I was only able to find two things for my daughter. Who has the time to dig through piles and piles of clothes just thrown everywhere. None of the cowokers cared, which shows how lazy they are. If you go to Macy’s, Nordstrom or Jcpenny you never see that. Customers come first always. Meaning break a little sweat for your customers and fold and organize as you go. It’s your job and you’ll have a higher chance for a customer to purchase something.
Horrible, horrible experience. The young lady at the counter was rude. Stood there and chit chatted for a minute before scanning my two items. She did not greet me at all, like customer service’s top priority should be. Smile, greet, and organize your store. Never ever will I ever step foot in this store. I’d chose the one in Nashua any day or the ME one.

Every thing is so picked over. I watch people look at things and just throw it on the floor not brothering to put it back where they got it. There are also large groups of unsupervised kids running through the store knocking things over and into people. There were two men just trying on pants on the sales floor. I have been to Old Navy by my house and people do not do this.
The quality of the clothing is ok and prices cheap.

Horrible. The store is a mess, making it dangerous (shoes and clothes strewn about the aisles where you’re trying to walk) and difficult to find what you’re looking for. And, right now, clearly understaffed with just two checkout clerks for a line of about 20 people waiting. Last time I was here they were remodeling and I attributed the disarray to that. It’s now apparent the messy store is just how they operate.

Awful, awful, awful. Clothes strewn everywhere. Looks like a junk sale. Good luck finding anything!

The lines are always awful at this Old Navy no matter what day you come here. Cashiers take their sweet time and there are never enough on. I dread any time I have to come in here. Terrible service

You have to know how to work it at Old Navy to get the best deals.
Rule #1 Never never never pay full price … I promise you it will go on sale. If it doesn’t, you didn’t need it.
Rule #2 This is one place where having the card really helps. I have an ON Visa, they send you rewards to spend like cash in the store. Plus you get special sales.
The clothes (especially layering t’s) are def. cheaper quality than they were years ago. But I have so many clothes, I’ll get sick of these before they wear out. The fleece tops and jackets are soft fuzzy and warm. They never get those icky pill-​y balls that some fleeces get.
One thing I do hate here is the music. It is awful stuff and played far too loudly, especially if you are standing under a speaker and trying to talk to someone. I’ve never had a problem with the help at this store. Usually the people there are helpful and mostly friendly.
I usually feel good about the deals I get here and that makes me happy :)

I used thing Old Navy was the devil. Now I think its… um.super. I really do! I love the selection of denim they have and omg the underwear! Its actually pretty nice. And CHEAP. If you can score some in the clearance racks then awesome because it can be super cheap.
They always have a great selection of shirts, tshirts, pants, sweatshirts etc. I love it.

LOVE this place. They have great active wear, cute yoga pants and zip up hoodies to wear to the gym. Their shoes are hit or miss, and their flip flops? Who doesn’t have like 8 pairs? They come in every color of the rainbow and they’re only 5 bucks.

Lately they’ve begun carrying more and more accessories too. They have cute, cheap bags, jewelry, and sunglasses. They’re not the best quality, but if your sunglasses cost 8 bucks you don’t care if they fall apart 3 months later.
They get new stuff in everyday, so if you see something you like that fits and you like the color, grab it! Because it probably won’t be there the next time. It’s a good place to get cheap, up to the moment clothes and accessories.
